The show Teen Species and reflecting on teenage life
I just finished watching something on The Learning Channel about Teenage Girls called Teen Species and it had these girls that were 10, 12, 14, and other ages around 10 to 16 and followed them for 2 years. It made me think. I'm a pretty normal girl, I started my period when I was 12, I started puberty like at 10 or 11. And even if it took me a little while to develop an interest in boys I do like them. Hehe, I started obsessing with guys at like 10, with DiCaprio (Leo) in Titanic and then with Nick Carter and slowly other guys and non-celebs. It's just I obsess over a certain guy for a long time or whatever. Hell I obsessed over Nick Carter shortly after I started my period in late Febuary of 2000 and kind of got over him in October of 2001 or March of 2002, but whatever. I can still like him as a fave singer, no matter what my ex friends said or say. Virginia would say then, "If you don't like Nick Carter than take off that poster off your wall" Goddamnit, excuse me who's room is it? It's mine I'll put whatever the fuck I want on it! To quote Kelly Osbourne, "My car. My Vagina. My Business" or was it "My car, my vagina are my my business" Whatever same thing. Anyway, she's not normal, she barely started her period, and had the nerve to like tell me when I didn't even give a flying fuck about her. Because like In my opinion a girl should start at least 12 and no later than 13. But it's not my fucking business I don't care. It's just how I feel. And did you know that we have 400 periods in our life? I've had around 30...seems like more. *does the math* Yeah 28...shit. Anyway, I'm gonna shut up.
