Early morning...

Saturday 8: Pages & Inspiration...
  1. As our world gets more & more technologically advanced, do you take 'time out' to read printed books?

Of course. I love printed books. My next book plan to read is going to be either Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling or A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks

  2. If you purchase a book for yourself or for someone else as a gift, do you prefer hardback or paperback... or is price no issue?

I think paperback is better, but price ain't an issue.

  3. If you read on a regular/semi-regular basis, what is the reason behind your desire to pick up a book? (relaxation, boredom, inspiration, procrastination, etc.) If you do not read on a semi-regular/regular basis, give us the reason(s) why you don't.

Because I love sitting outside on summer days caught up in a good book.

  4. Were you one of those people who loved the books you had to read in English Lit class in high school, or would you rather have put out both your eyes than pick up any more Hemingway or Shakespeare?

I love reading Shakespeare, he is the greatest playwright that ever lived.

  5. Give us one or two books that you absolutely LOVED reading in high school (or college/uni). If you didn't like a thing that you were 'assigned' to read, give us a title or two of something that really flipped your twinkie while in your teens/early adulthood.

Well since I'm still a Freshmen I'm going to say number 1: The Giver by Lois Lowry(read it in 7th/8th grade, but close enough), and number 2: Night by Elie Wiesel

  6. Give us one or two books that you hated or that really disturbed you that you had to read in high school or college/uni.

Some of the stuff in Night was pretty disturbing.

  7. How old were you when you learned to read, and did you have any learning difficulties when it came to reading, or were you an above-average reader?

Oh, I believe I learned to read like summer before 1st grade. My favorite book was about this cat called Scritch, Scratch. And now I have like a college reading level

  8. Has an incredible book every inspired you to write? If so, what happened to the writing that you did?

    I may write, not sure.
