notes from fic, longness
Hey! How are you? I'm doing okay, not much happening. Anyone catching the 48 hour Carroll Burnett and Friends Marathon on Tv Land? It's freaking hilarious. Been playing around at dollzmania. It's like super fun. Don't ask why I'm playing around there. I have like 25 dollz that I made. Alot of them represent Kim Possible. You know me. Been watching KP. I watched the Marathon from Nov 28th yesterday and I watched ASiT this morning and I just finished watching A Very Possible Christmas and Queen Bebe. The pictures of KP on the diary are kind of...red x-y. I'm guessing Meredith had a great time at the Uncle Tony Awards. I haven't talked to her since yesterday so I can only guess from her blog. Still thinking about the MiST idea for one of my fics. Not 100 percent sure. Anyways, have you read Moms and Daughters Talk all the way through? Here are the notes: *21 and a half pages handwritten, 5 pages in MS Works, and 4022 words. *Was longer in handwritten pages than AHFT but was shorter in amount of words. *It took around 3 hours to write all four parts *This fanfic has a big back story to it. Originally this fic was going to be a KS fic, where I was old, living with a group much like the Golden Girls, my KS husband was dead, Nick was old, etc. I thought about it after writing a fic at KS, but I trashed it. Then I came up with the idea of this fic. And since I already killed off Kim in one story, I was not gonna kill Ron off, so I ditched the whole being like 70 years old looking back on life POV and lowered Kim and Ashley's age to 30. I didn't want them to be matrons and mothers either. I can't picture Kim at 30. So I lowered to 23 and Kim is engaged to Ron, I lowered it again to 21. And then I decided to just ditch the whole older idea, and make them 17. *Now the whole timeline of my fics may confuse you so here we go: -CWA, 3rd fic Christmas from December 19th to December 25th -AFMH (Ashley first day at middleton H.S.), 7th fanfic, Jan 3rd ish -KPD, 4th fic, March -AHFT, 5th fic, May -MADT, 8th fic, the March after KPD *Kim: "What ever happened to Miss Get Over the shyness?"--Reference to Ashley trying to help them get over the shyness in AHFT *Ashley: "It's not just a big deal, its a big hairy deal!"--Reference to Car Trouble in which Ron tells Kim that driving is a big hairy deal. *Ashley: "Okay, the first time Ron and Kim did it, her 'rents were in Texas, the twins in Florida, and she was staying with me...and she said she had a "mission""--Another reference to AHFT *Minnie: 'gave Ashley a hug and kiss on the forehead. "How's my little sister?"'--This is a semi reference to Meredith and Amanda and how Mer calls Amanda her big sis. This is also a reference to Minnie being Ashley's older sister in the HP-dom. *Narration: 'The tweebs and the fathers were going to J.P. Bearymore's Pizza Party-tor-ium.' --The Party tor ium is a reference to Coach Possible in which Mr. Dr. Possible breaks his leg there and Kim has to coach the tweeb's soccer team. *Ashley: "Why am I seeing Dorothy, Rose, Sophia, and Blanche eating cheesecake and Dorothy saying, "Mom, I don't think I want to here this"?" -- this is a reference to the episode in which the girls talk about their best sex ever obviously. *In fact this entire fic is one giant Golden Girls reference. *We hear Ashley's other drama pals talk. *The girls all eat alot during their talk don't you think? *I'm not giving you a tally of what they ate through the whole thing. *The cheesecake is another reference to the Golden Girls because they eat so many in all their episodes. *Notice the way Ashley spazzes out? *Ashley: "Yeah, Kimberly I love you too!" -- this is a reference to when Kim calls her a dork in CWA Part 2 and in the Epilogue of KPD where Ashley says Kim stinks. *Dr. Possible: "How did we know? Well, for one thing, you both had a glow to you..." -- Didn't Shego say something to Kim in Part 2 of AHFT about Kim's glow? *Narrator and Kim: 'Kim responded by doing something Ron had once done when Ron was confronted with the idea of going to talk to some guy about monkeys. "La la la la--No mommy sex stories--La la la la!"' -- this referencing to Monkey Fist Strikes in which Ron says, "La la la---No Monkey Stuff--La la la---get in no monkey stuff---lalala" or along the lines of that. *Kim and Ashley: "Picture this. May of last year" "Okay, Sophia." -- Another GG reference. This one came to me as I wrote. *Dr. Possible: "So, when you got together that night after you got together after you had that major save the world thing, nothing happened?" -- Reference to KPD. *Notice that when the characters mention the events of KPD they don't go into full detail? *The whole first paragraph of part 3 is one big reference to AHFT. *The italics in part 3 for more of them denote a flashback *Noticed I directly used a few lines from AHFT? *Another Titanic reference. *Dr. Possible: "Oh come on, Kimmie, having an open mind is simple." -- Kind of ironic words coming from a Brain surgeon *You like KP's retelling of her best sex ever story? *Ashley was Juliet! Pretty fun. This is kind of a dream for me. *Notice the Shakespeare in Love reference? *Romeo and Juliet references with lines from the play. *Apparently Ashley talks in her sleep *The whole Ian/Ashley thing could be a whole nother story. *Ashley: "On occasion and I bought some morning after pills around the time I started going out with IAN." --Another reference to AHFT...the m.a.p. in her safe...now we know why she had them. *Sean Connery, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Orlando Bloom, and Ben Affleck. Each references to something...James Bond, Terminator, LOTR, and KPD. This is also a reference to my liking OB, BA, and AS. My mom likes SC. *Oooh gotta love how Kim threatens to withhold sex from Ron if he doesn't pay attention to her. That sounds like some thing she would do too. *Kim: 'it's in the magical world of not gonna happen' -- This is a late addition to the fic, I wanted to reference to a new episode like I did in CWA (AVPC), AFDM (HT and QB) so I added this one. This is sometime Kim told Bonnie when Bonnie wanted to be at the top of the pyramid in Return to Wannaweep. *The dads are only mentioned but again have no lines. Neither do the tweebs or Monique. Speaking of Terminator, it's on tonight. Dang! Long ass entry...mainly from the notes. My favorite quote from Part 2 of CWA, Ashley anwering the phone. Thought/Quote of the day: "Hello Possible residence. Home of the famous teen hero Kim Possible and the phrase anything is possible for a Possible. Can I take your order?" - Ashley Possible Benlove, Kim Possible: Christmas With Ashley Part 2 Word of the day: pultaceous Hakuna Matata. |
