Notes of Ashley's Break Up
Here's the notes to Ashley's Break Up: *16 pages handwritten, 7 full, and 1 line on an 8th page, so 7 pages in MS Works, TNR, 10 font. *I reckon if it was in the normal long paragraph format it would be no longer than 4 pages *3187 words *Took 2 hours and 26 minutes to write all together. *My 13th KP fanfic. *First fic with the new format of different paragraphs for different speakers. *Most likely to be continued like that in other fics. *Is written in the long paragraph format in my notebook. *The fact they are in their 20s is established very early on with Ian's first line in the fic, "It was! But now that we're 20 I figured what if this acting thing doesn't work? I might as well become a Buddhist monk." *The dramatic feel is established by Ashley's stuttering. *Sounds kind of stupid as to why they broke up but people break up for stupid reasons all the time. *Wow, Ashley mumbles into Kim's chest. *Ron's mistake of thinking celibacy is celery is hilarious. Classic Ron. *Ah, they gave up sex for Lent. Rather interesting. Considering Ron is Jewish. *That ought to turn into a rather interesting story. *Ron and Narration: "Does that include me too?" Ron asked. Kim grunted at him. "Oh okay, so me too" -- what he's saying is "Does that include me in not seeing Ian again too?" He's asking that because he and Ian are rather good friends. *Ashley: "A burrito, 3 tacos, a chimerito, a nacho platter grande sized, and a naco." -- Hot damn, that girl can eat. I thought Ron ate alot. *Ashley: "Oooh, Peaches and Cream... my favorite ice cream ever. Yum!" -- Even though it's mentioned in AHFT that Ashley and Cream are going to eat PaC and I say in the fic notes that it's her fave ice cream, we don't find out from her own mouth for another 8 fics. *Kim: "I thought my eating marshmallows with hot dogs was bad." -- this is a reference to Blush, that is her grossest food combo, she confided this to Josh at the end. *In the planning phase I had actually thought about having Kim, Ron, and Ashley have a threesome. You know, cheer her up, if you get it. But I ditched it obviously. *Ron: "Good things sometimes come out of bad situations." -- Wow, Ron said something very inspirational. That's a first. LOL. *Kim: "And, he's right remember the time that Drakken zapped me with something that made me disappear a little bit every time I blushed? That night ended with me getting kissed by Josh." -- Kim references to Blush directly, telling what happens to a point. *Kim: "The one where we saved existence and I died for about 10 minutes?" -- reference to KPD. Once again, she doesn't care to elaborate. She mentions that she died though. *Faith just had to tell Brian didn't she? Well, Brian may have figured it out for himself. *In order for me to find out whether or not Julliard is an acting school was such a job. I swear. Gotta do bg research with these fics. *Julliard is mentioned many times in this fic. I'd estimate 5-20 times. I'm too lazy to count. And that includes "prestigious acting school" *The fact that Ashley gave up Julliardf for Ian reflects the fact that in Boy Meets World, Topanga gave up Yale for Cory. So in essence, reference to BMW. *Apparently, Ashley doesn't trust her father around Ian. He is her father after all. Odds are, he never liked him. *Faith obviously trusts her neice to take care of her daughter. *Ron seems to be very caring about Ashley. Suspicious are we readers? Insinuate all you want. *Ashley: "Most Theatre guys are gay." -- Ah, another supporter of the myth. Meredith, the beta reader and a cool friend was the one who told me this. *Cream is a prime example of just how loyal dogs are. He follows Ashley wherever she goes. *Ashley: "You, my daddy, and maybe Ron are the only men I can trust." -- Does this quote sound familiar to you. In Grease, the pink haired one tells Sandy that "A girl's daddy is the only guy a girl can count on" and Ashley is taking that and twisting it around. As to why Ron is even mentioned by her... makes you insinuate more. But Ron and her have known each other since Kim and Ron knew each other and he's just a good friend. *Kim: "No. We don't have a mission. I do though" -- I love it how she stresses this to him. *Kim: "Don't let her leave. Simple as that." -- this leads us to think dirty thoughts, huh readers? *Ron: "Kim, um, hello are you forgetting? Let's see, she's related to you, her dog is rabid, and she could probably kick me ass if she wanted to!" -- Yeah, Ashley could prolly kick Ron's butt, and Cream isn't rabid, he just is a barkable doggie. *Ah, I love the Bad Ass Bitch line, and Ron means in in a good way. *How sexy is it when she says, "Better believe it, Sidekick boy"? She even uses the phrase the originate in the fic that this fic is based from. *This fic is based off information given to us in HC. *Haha, Ian is so dramatic. Gotta love the drama he puts out. *Kim's loyalty for her cousins shows off in the scenes where she talks to Ian. *I love how it flips between Ashley and Ron and Ian and Kim. It's rare that I ever do that. *Ron and Ashley: "You moved around and I heard it" "I'm that loud?" "Yeah." -- sounds rather suggestive hmm readers? *Ashley's rather smart, except for the fact that she shares a brain with Ron on occasion. *The entire scene in which Kim tells Ian off is so intense aren't you just like, "Wow". Our heroine is rather pissed eh? *Ian: "You know, I could always help you out years from now..." -- He foreshadows something to happen in the 9th fic I made, HC. Ian takes care of Christy and Will when Kim and Ron come out of retirement. *Narration: "When she got back to her house, she sighed and opened the door. What she saw amazed her." -- I know for a fact that Meredith, the beta reader, thought that Kim was going to catch Ron and Ashley doing it. Yes, I do mean, sex. *Now if you had thought that, I'm not surprised because I made that line say that for that specific dramatic reason. *Now, up until about 4 am, I was like, "I wouldn't have Ashley and Ron do it in a fic", but then I analyzed that thought and realized that I could make a alternate part to the parts where Ashley tries to leave for Ian's. Besides what else would have stopped her than that. *Narrator: "Ron and Ashley were having a staring contest on the floor. Next to them were the pets, Rufus and Cream who were staring it down also." -- were you relieved to read that line. I'm sure you were. *Kim and Ron: "So what's up, guys?" "Quiet Kim, I'm distracting Ashley from chasing after you... Oh! Hey Kim!" -- this still shows the suggestiveness of the end of part 2. *Ron and Kim: "No, she figured it out, I had to outwit her to keep her from leaving." "Oh right, you outwitted me. Ron, you can't even spell that!" -- god this sounds kind of suggestive still. *I loved the little suggestive scene in which they are under the covers. Hehehe. *Don't ask me if I'm sure that's how they have the procedures in accepting someone to Julliard, that's a guess. *Juliet, Katharina, Lucy, Sandy, and Anne Frank -- if you can figure this out you're sad, these are each characters from the plays of "Romeo and Juliet", "The Taming of the Shrew", "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown", "Grease", and "The Diary of Anne Frank". Ashley's a lucky bitch huh? *Hehe, Ashley's rather lucky once again huh. *And the story ends kind of suggestively with Ashley complimenting Ron. She ought to stop that, the readers will talk! *Brian's a rather quiet man, huh? Kind of like Farmer Hoggett from Babe. *I'm going to restate, Ron and Ashley share a brain. It's creepy huh? *The fics based off this fic? --One in which Ron and Kim give up sex for Lent. --A KaA like fic that is based off the suggestive line at the end of part 2. Only it's Ron and Ashley and Kim is not even in it. And it's like an alternate part to this fic and might be what may have happened. I'M NOT INSINUATING THOUGH! You can do that all you want, readers. *Nice little acronym huh? ABU? I had thought of a longer name but I liked that acronym so much I chose it. |
