*FANFIC* Kim Possible's Jurassic Park: Chapter 12*FANFIC*

Muldoon looked at Kim. "You can't just stroll down the road, you know," Muldoon said.

"Don't let's be to hasty he's only been gone--" John said. He looked at his wristwatch. While John said this, Muldoon walked over to a cabinet, and unlocked it with the key.

"I'm going with you," Muldoon said.

Inside, Kim wanted to protest and say that she was tough enough to go alone. But something Ron had told her many years ago when they were stranded at Lake Wannaweep told her that it would better to have someone with her. Her heart ached horribly when she thought of her husband. "Okay," Kim said. Muldoon pulled out a rifle, Kim shined the light on it and he stuck a bullet into the gun.

John grabbed the schematics of the park from the drawer and set it on top of Ian's leg. "This isn't going to be like switching on the kitchen light, but I can follow this and then talk you through it," John said. His eyes wandered to some walkie talkies about a few feet from Kim. Kim took the hint and turned around and grabbed two turning them on. "But, uh, it ought to me really going," John said.

"Why?" Kim asked.

"Because I'm a... and you're a..."

She handed him the walkie talkie and gave him a look. "Look," she said.

"Come on, let's go," Muldoon said.

"We can discuss sexism in survival situations when we get back. You just take me through this step by step. I'm on Channel two," she said, walking away with Muldoon.

Inside Kim was thinking as they opened the bunker and left, This is so like a mission. As they walked past the raptor paddock, Kim was looking behind her anxiously. She was scared, she would even admit it, she was scared to death.

The raptor paddock had torn bars and their footprints leading away someplace were in the sand.

"Oh, God," Kim said.

"The shutdown must have turned off all the fences. Damnit, even Nedry knew better than to mess with the raptor fences," Muldoon said. "Come on, this way."

Kim and Muldoon were in a passageway of trees. "I can see the shed from here. We can make it if we run," Kim said.

"No. We can't," Muldoon said.

"Why?"

"Because we're being hunted."

"Oh, God."

"In the bushes. Straight ahead. It's all right."

"Like hell it is," Kim whispered.

"Run. Towards the shed. I've got her. Go Now!" Muldoon hissed.

Kim ran, as fast as she could, using some of her cheerleading flips and running as if she was running track, until she got into the shed. "Mr. Arnold?" Kim said. She put on the ear piece for the walkie talkie. "John, I'm in," Kim said.

"Great. Now, ahead of you is a metal staircase, go down it," John's voice said.

"Okay, going down," Kim said. She started her descent down the stairs.

"After 20 or 30 feet, you come to a T-Junction. Take a left," John said.

"Just have her follow the main cable," Ian said.

John turned to Ian. "I understand how to read a schematic."

Ron, Christy, and Will reached the perimeter fence. Ron grabbed a small branch, got on the ledge near the fence, and threw it against the fence. Nothing happened. No volts of electricity, no sparks, nothing. "I guess that means the power's off," Ron said. Ron put his hands against the cable and started screaming and shook the wire. The kids screamed too. He abruptly stopped.

"Daddy, that's not funny," Christy said. She gave him a reproachful look that was reminiscent of Kim.

"That was great," Will said. He sounded amused by this. Christy gave the same look to her brother.

There was a roar in the distance. Christy and Will exchanged a look and got up onto the ledge of the fence. They started to climb it.

"Damn it. Dead end," Kim said. The flashlight was lighting up a small square area that had no way of going through it.

"Wait a minute. Yes. There should have been a right turn back there," John's voice said.

Ian grabbed the walkie talkie from John.

"Kim, look above you. There should be a large bundle of cable and pipes all heading in the same direction. Follow that," Ian said.

"Okay, following the piping," Kim said, looking up with the flashlight lighting up the ceiling.

"Will, I bet I could get to the top and over the other side before you could get to the top," Christy said. She was ahead of Will by three or four large wires

"What would you give me?" Will said.

"Respect."

"Come on, kids, it's not a race," Ron said.

"I see the box. It says 'high voltage,'" Kim said, walking towards the box. She opened it.

"Yeah, here we go. Over the top," Ron said, as he climbed over the time. "Take your time, Will. Find your footing."

"Kim, you can't throw the main switch by hand. You've got to pump up the primer handle in order to get the charge. It's large, flat, and grey," John said.

"All right. Here I go. Okay?" Kim said. She pumped the handle four times with ease. "Okay. Charged."

"Under the words contact position, there's a round green button that says push to close," John said. Kim found the button. "Push it."

There was an alarm ringing on the fence. Ron had just gotten down, Christy was climbing down, and Will was still on the top.

"Kim, the red buttons turn on the individual park systems. Switch 'em on," John said.

Kim turned on one at a time, whispering the name of each. Unbeknownst to her the last one was the perimeter fence.

"Will, you're going to have to jump," Ron said.

Will looked down from where he was hanging. "You crazy? I'm not gonna jump," Will said.

"Will, do what Daddy says!" Christy yelled, frantic.

"Let go. I'll count to three. One, two, three."

Back in the shed, Kim pressed the buttons for control and tour.

"I'm coming up to get you," Ron said.

"Okay, I'm gonna count to three. One, two," Will said.

Kim pressed the perimeter fence button.

Will flew off the fence and into Ron's arms. "Will?! Will?!" Christy said alarmed.

Ron was kneeling by Will. "He's not breathing," Ron said. Ron was absolutely scared.

Back at the shed, the lights turned on. "Mr. Hammond, I think we're back in business," Kim said. A raptor came out from the side of the control panel and snarled menacingly at her. Kim screamed. She ran out of that area and closed it on the raptor. She fell backwards to the ground and got back up. She felt an arm rest on her shoulder. "Oh, Mr. Arnold, she said. Then she turned around. The arm that was against her should was only an arm from the elbow down. She was absolutely disgusted. She back up against another fence gate. The same raptor got to where she was. It was going to come through the gate. Kim ran out of the shed, limping as fast she could. She got out of the shed to the fence that closed it and sat down behind it.

Muldoon was hunting the raptor. It was to the side of him and he could see her. "Clever girl," he said to the raptor. It jumped on top of him and attacked him brutally.

Ron was performing CPR on his son. "Come on Will! Don't do this to me!" Ron yelled. Christy knelt down next to Will, put her hand on Will's redhead as Ron did another round of CPR, and he started coughing. Ron looked very surprised as he looked at his daughter. The powers of the last scion, he thought.

"Three," Will said.

"Good boy," Ron said, patting the redheaded boy.

Ron and Christy walked into the Visitor's Center. Will was being held by Ron. They walked into the dining room area. "Okay, I'm going to have to find the others, and get you to a doctor," Ron said, setting Will onto a table.

"Even Mom?" Will asked.

"Yes, even Mom," Ron said. That was his first mission, to find his wife. "Christy, you look after him?"

"Sure."

"Hey, your hair is sticking up," Ron said, patting the boy's red hair. "Big Will, the human piece of toast. I'll be back soon. I promise," Ron said. He left the room.

Will got off the table and walked over to some food that was on several tables. He and his sister were hungry. They had not eaten in almost a day.
