*FANFIC* Kim Possible's Jurassic Park: Epilogue*FANFIC*
That night. The Stoppable family had been checked out to see if were okay physically and headed home. They were back in their beachfront house in California. Kim was in her bedroom with Ron. "I'm going to, uh, put the kids to bed," Kim said. "And check with them if they are all right." Kim was wearing a long light green silk nightgown. She walked across the Stoppable house to Christy's room. She wanted to see if her eldest daughter was all right first, because she seemed horribly shaken up due to her experience with whatever she encountered in the park. Kim knocked at her daughter's bedroom door. "Christy? May I come in, darling?" Kim asked. "Come in," Christy replied on the other side of the door. Christy was sitting on her bed in her night clothes. She had a few scrapes and cuts but other than that she looked perfectly fine. Christy's blonde hair was pulled back in a sloppy, wet ponytail, being that, as soon as the young girl got home, she showered. Kim walked over to her daughter and sat down next to her. Christy looked down for a moment and hugged Kim. Kim found herself reminded of a scene with her own mother, 20 years before. "Christy, are you okay?" Kim asked, softly. "Mom, I was so scared. The Rex nearly tried to eat Will and I, then we had to escape from Raptors," Christy said. "How did your father react when he saw the Rex go after you and Will?" Kim asked. "He risked his life to distract it. Dr. Malcolm did the same thing." "I know, Dr. Malcolm told me." "Mom?" Christy said, looking up at her mother's similar green eyes. "Yes, sweetie?" "How did you feel when you were separated from us for such a long time?" Christy asked. Kim gasped. "Oh, darling. I felt downright awful. I couldn't do a single thing. I really don't want to go that much into detail, sweetheart," Kim said. "I understand," Christy said. The little bit that her mother had told her was enough. "Daddy teased Will and I, he pretended to get electrocuted by the perimeter fence and before that he made us watch the T-Rex eat a dinosaur." "Oh, he did?" Kim said. "So, are you going to punish him?" Christy asked. "Maybe." "Uh, mom, I did something weird. When Will got electrocuted by the fence and stopped breathing, I touched his head and he seemed to be healed." "The powers of the last scion," Kim said softly. "Say what?" Christy said. "Remember when I told you about the adventure your father and I had in our teens and saved existence, and we got together? And I found out I was related to Christ?" "Yeah." "I guess you tapped the powers that come with the heritage." "Can Will tap them?" Christy asked. "Don't think so. The oldest last scion of a generation can tap them if I'm not mistaken. Your uncles couldn't and neither could your aunt," Kim said. "Oh." "So, you okay?" Kim asked. "Yeah, I guess," Christy said. Kim kissed her daughter's forehead and said, "Bedtime. Now. Under the covers." Christy reluctantly got under the covers. "Sleep now, Pleasant dreams." Kim said. "Night. Love you, Mom." "Night. Love you, Christy," Kim said. She turned the off the light and closed her door. Kim walked across the hall to Will's bedroom. She opened the door. He was sitting under the covers, apparently waiting for her. "Hey, you," Kim said. "Hey, mommy," Will said. Kim walked over and sat down on the 11 year old's bed. "Are you all right?" Kim asked him. "Yeah, now, I am. I'm just glad to be home," Will said. Kim patted the boy's soft red hair that looked like her's and then hugged him. "Mom?" "Yes?" "Are you all right? You seem to be a little shaken up like Christy." "Oh, I'm fine, Will. Go to bed, please. It's way past your bedtime and you need sleep," Kim said. "Okay," Will said and kissed Kim's cheek. "Night." "Night, I love you," Kim said, and turned off the light after he closed his eyes. She closed the door softly. Kim walked back to her bedroom, and dimmed the light. The only light that was streaming through was the moonlight through the blinds. "Kids asleep?" Ron asked, as Kim closed the door behind her. "Yes." "They all right?" "Yes, Christy seems a little bit shaken up, but I trust she will be fine," Kim said. "I'm sorry," Ron said softly. "For what?" "For not riding in the car with them, if they had been with me--" "Ron, Ron," Kim said, putting her fingertips against his lips. "That's not your fault. You didn't know the Rex was going to go loose on the park," Kim said. "Kim, did the kids tell you how Will got electrocuted?" "Christina did," Kim said. "And I feel so awful. I turned the power back on. I nearly," Kim's voice cracked. "killed my own son." "Kim, Kim," Ron said. He grabbed Kim's arms gently. "That was not your fault. You had no idea where we were. So, it is not your fault." He said it rather forcefully to get it through to Kim that it wasn't her fault. Kim's green eyes looked up into Ron's brown eyes. She could see the truth in his eyes. She nodded. "So, I hear you took on the Rex after it attacked the car with our children inside?" Kim said, casually. "Yeah," Ron said, modestly. "Ron, why would you do such a thing? You could have been killed!" Kim said, her voice cracking. "Kim, I would have done it even if it killed me. Those are our children. We," Ron said, he drew Kim closer to him and his body. "created them with our love. We gave them life. You," Ron gently withdrew and his right hand touched Kim's stomach. "Carried them inside your body for 9 months. You went through the pain of childbirth to bring them into this world. I love you and them too much to throw that way." Kim was so touched by what Ron had said to her that 2 tears slowly fell down her cheeks. Ron wiped them gently away with his thumb. He sat down on the bed and looked at Kim. "When Will stopped breathing, Kim..." Ron said. "I felt like I had did 20 years ago when I saw you dead on that hospital floor." Kim gasped. Ron had never mentioned the events that had brought her and him together in the 20 years since it had occurred. "Y-You mentioned it! I always figured that you would never mention it," Kim said. "Oh, Kim, as hard as it is for me to mention it, I think I should at least be able to acknowledge the events that brought us together," Ron said. His brown eyes looked at Kim. "Oh, Ron, when I saw that car had been thrown over the side of that Rex paddock, it scared the fuck out of me," Kim said. "Because you thought that I and the kids had been eaten right?" Ron said. "Yes," Kim said, softly. Ron stood up and drew Kim close to him. "There's no way that Ron Stoppable can be gotten rid of that easy," Ron said. "Ron, just promise me one thing," Kim said. Her voice was hardly a whisper. "What's that?" Ron asked. "That we'll die old together, warm in our bed," Kim said. Ron was silent. Kim grabbed Ron's arms and exclaimed, "Promise me!" She put her cheek against his bare chest and put her hands on his chest also. "I don't want to lose you. I want to die old next to you, late in our lives. I don't want you to die before me, and I don't want to die before you. I couldn't bear that," Kim said. Tears fell from her eyes and landed against Ron's chest. "I promise, Kim, I promise," Ron said, softly, kissing Kim's forehead. "Now, that that's settled," Kim said. "I want you to make love to me. That's one thing that scared me, that if you were gone, I'd never be able to make love to you again. That I'd never be able to scream out your name in passion again. That I'd never be able to hold you, to lay in your arms, to kiss you, to hug you, to lie next to you. To shower with you, to grow old with you, to touch you, to smell you, to hear your voice, to look into your eyes. To tell you that I love you," her voice was a whisper. Kim's green eyes were shining with tears. Her hand touched his blonde hair and then it went down to his cheek. "Come on, my turn to console you," Ron said. Ron put his arms around Kim's waist and kissed her. Her arms went around his neck and she kissed him back. "I love you, Ron Stoppable," Kim said, softly. "I love you, Kim Possible Stoppable," Ron replied. He kissed her as she laid down onto the bed. "It's a good thing our bedroom is soundproof," Kim said in between kisses and as she threw off her nightgown. Ron pulled off his boxers. Ron kissed her once more. He looked down at Kim in her absolutely naked glory and kissed her as he entered her body. Kim smiled up at him as Ron made love to her that night, as they strengthened their marriage, as they orgasmed and screamed out each other's names in passion, as they sexually consoled each other about the events that happened at Jurassic Park, as they held onto each other, as they promised each other that they would die old together, as they laid in each other's arms, as they exhausted themselves from each other's prowess. Kim and Ron Stoppable made up that night for having not spent the previous night together, due to being separated in the park. They loved a lifetime's worth that night. The End. |
