Dedicated to all the beautiful woman out there who have gone through the pain of childbirth in order to start a family and help populate the world. You guys rules, remember that. Happy Reading. Kim Possible had reached her 6th month of her pregnancy. "So, you ready for Lamaze, Ashley?" Kim said. "Um, kinda," Ashley said. They walked together into the training room of the Stoppable house. Christy was sitting on a chair looking at her grandmother and great aunt. They were standing next to a cheery looking woman, who had to have been their Lamaze coach. Ron and Ian were sitting on the mats. "I am your Lamaze teacher. Okay, mommies to be and mommies to be that have been mommies before, sit with your back against the daddies. Will the grandmas help the mommies out," the coach said. "Hey, teach, how 'bout telling us a little bit about yourself?" Christy asked. "Um, okay, I'm a mother of three, I'm in my mid 40s, and I'm a certified Lamaze teacher. And I know five languages." "A name, please?" "Rose Cheerneen." "Okay. Well, just ignore me, I have nothing better to do then watch my mom and aunt do Lamaze." "Okay, mommies, breathe in a gentle hee hee hoo style. Kim can understand this, I'm sure," Rose said. "Oww!" Ian said. Ashley had elbowed him in the stomach. "Ashley, I know you may have the moody swings, but don't--" Rose said. "Mom!" Ashley said. "Tell Ian to move back a little bit and the Rose Nylund wannabe to just do her coach thing." "Okay, that is good, what I want you moms and dads to do is to breath like this at least once a day for 10 minutes." "Um, I'm curious. Why is Lamaze even used at all? Do the even breath like that in the delivery room?" Christy asked. "Um, Rose, you have to excuse my daughter, she inherited some weird gene from her father which rendered her completely nosy," Kim said. She paused and then added, "Ron, stop copping a feel." After the Lamaze class. The adults walked out with Christy, Rose left, and they walked into the kitchen. Will was sitting next to his grandfather and Brian Benlove eating cookies. Brian Benlove was about 60 years old and was a judge now. "Hey daddy," Kim said. "How's my Kimmie-cub and her mini cub?" Mr. Dr. Possible said. Christy and Will exchanged a look and sniggered. "So, it's official," Christy said. "All fathers are insane. It was nice knowing you, Ian." "Especially husbands, mine in particular," Faith said. Brain still did not approve or like Ian alot, but he understood that he could not interfere with their relationship. Ron walked over to Will and tousled his hair. "I hope that doesn't include me," Ron said. "As insane?" Faith asked. Ron nodded. "Um, yes, but we all love you for that," Kim said. Ron smiled. Later that night. "Hey, Ron, may I ask a question?" Kim said. "Sure, Kim, what?" Ron said. "Being that I can't train with Christy for a while," Kim pointed to her stomach, which made it evident that she was pregnant. "Can you train with her I mean, she's pretty good alone, but that's boring, you know?" "You want me to train with her? Kung fu and all that stuff?" Ron said. Kim nodded. "Are you crazy? Don't answer that. I don't want to hurt her!" Ron said. "Ron, you're not going to! She is not a fragile baby. She's 14 years old! And besides you've seen me in action." "You make it seem like cake." "Ron, you were exposed to mystical monkey power, you have some sort of monkey power-- oh stop shuddering! It's not like I said Voldemort. Oh stop that!" Ron shuddered a second time. "Ron, you and Christy are like one and the same it would be really cool to see you be her sidekick." "I don't want to be her sidekick. I'm your sidekick," Ron said. Kim smiled. "I'd love to see you try your hand at training with her." "Okay, seems like I don't have much choice do I?" Ron said. "Seriously? No," Kim said. Ron woke up the next morning about 4 am, unable to sleep after a nightmare. He got out of bed and sat on the floor of the training room. He was humming and listening to a CD for about 2 and a half hours when Christy walked in. She sat in front of him trying to see if he was paying attention. "I see you," Ron said, pressing the stop button on the CD player. "What are you doing up?" Christy asked. "I might ask you the same thing," Ron said. "Oh, I just woke up and couldn't fall asleep again so I figured I might as well think and--" "Listening to the Backstreet Boys?" Christy said, looking at the CD. "Now this is Old School!" "It's, um, not mine. It's Mom's!" "Listening to a boy band. How cute," Christy said. "They got some nice songs. Hmm, mom wants me to train with you. I was thinking about when I was about your age. Your mom and I made an unstoppable team..." Ron said. "Dad, if you're going to go sappy about a trip down Memory Lane, don't..." Christy said. "Hmm. Let's see if you are as good as your mom in Kung fu." Kim watched Ron and Christy do kung fu for about 20 minutes before she finally said anything. "Wow, I shall voice my astonishment. I didn't know my husband could do Kung Fu that well," Kim said. Christy was so surprised she stopped right in her tracks and fell over. "Hey mom!" The next month. Kim, Ron, and Christy were sitting on the couch. Through the front door came Ian and Ashley surrounded by Mrs. Dr. Possible and Faith Possible Benlove. "Hey, Kimmie, me and Faith had this idea to help Ashley get the idea of what childbirth will be like and I realized I had a copy of Christy's birth, so I grabbed it, and we rushed over," Mrs. Dr. Possible said. They sat down on the couch. Faith put the tape into the VCR. There was a pause. "Um, grandma, Faith, I really don't think is my birth... WHOA!" Christy said, covering her eyes. It wasn't her birth at all. Faith ejected the tape out. She looked at her daughter, put the tape in Ashley's lap, and said, "Do you ever grow up?" Ashley giggled for about three seconds and then sniffled, tears forming in her eyes. "This one can't be Christy's birth, because its dated the Easter Sunday, 4 years before," Faith said, looking at it. They looked at Ashley. "Okay, so I was a troublemaker when I was 19, so what?" "Oh my eyes!" Christy said. Ashley sniffled. "No groundy?" she asked. "I hardly have any authority over you anyway," Faith said. She searched through the tape case of their entertainment center. "I'll talk to your father. Ah, here it is." She pulled out a tape. "Are you sure?" Mrs. Dr. Possible said warily. "Yes! It's dated June 15th, the year she was born. I believe that is your birthdate, yes?" "Yes," Christy said. Faith stuck the tape in. "Big brother, give me the tape recorder. Your wife said you can't go in there!" the Faith on the video said. Although one could not see the persons speaking, because it was being pointed at the ground and tugged. The tape cut to Kim and Ron. Kim lying on a hospital bed, Ron sitting next to her. "Hello! Say hi," Faith said. "Get the camera out of my face, please. I'm having period cramps times 1000 here, not to mention, I'm about to have my first kid! How do you put this, I'm a little nervous," Kim said on the tape. The tape went onto show the birth and Ron nearly fainting. "Does this tape have the famous, 'who Christy got her looks from' debate?" Kim asked. "I think so," Faith said. She went forward on the tape. It showed Ashley entering the hospital room saying, "Hi, fashionable late, as always." "Ask her," Ron on the tape said. "Ask me what?" "Who does she look like?" Kim asked, pointing to Christy, pink, tiny, and in a baby crib. Ashley squeaked and looked at her. "What did you name her?" "Christina Elizabeth." "Cute!" "So who does she look like, Ashley?" Faith said. "Oh, hey mom!" "Answer the question," Kim said. "The current stats are that Ron says she looks like Kim, who says she looks like Ron." "Okay, just give me a few seconds to figure out," Ashley said. Ashley looked at the baby Christy for five minutes and then said, "Harry Potter looks like his father, but has his mother's eyes. Going with Kim here." The tape stopped. Christy laughed. "Who was wrong?" she asked. "Me," Kim said. "You totally look like me, except the hair." "Booyah," Ron said. End of part 1. |
