DCA's proposition, class schedule change
Hey fans. Day 5 of writing and coping without a computer in my life. And The outpouring (okay, 2 people) of love my online friends have sent to me is just surpising. DCA has volunteered his nephew to make me a computer, it's complete, and I just need to plug in a few things. I was speechless when I read the first email about it. Now, I am just surprised beyond anything. I mean, this means I don't have to spend any money on a computer, but the thing is how will I tell my mother about this? LOL. A guy I know on the internet has offered to give me a computer. How the hell do you explain that to a woman who is less than a decade older than this man? Email me with ideas. It's a complex matter. LOL. But I know that I can trust DCA. He knows more about me than my mom does, after all he has read my work. :) By the way, will it have all the programs it needs? Like is it a good comp? Does it have Microsoft Office and Windows Media Player? I'm very curious. What about Windows XP? So I got out of Pre Cal honors today. Tomorrow I have Math Models 2nd period and 3rd period I have English with Dr. Drew. I was rather annoyed that I had to change that around. But that's okay. The only reason I took Pre Cal was because of pride. Only because I wanted to have cool, smart people in all my classes and feel like I was smarter than other people. Silly me. At least I won't have many problems anymore. The rest of the classes are well too. In fact, I feel very satisfied with my life right now. I guess it took something like this to bring me back to earth. DCA, guide me on this issue please. How the hell do I tell my mom about this? Last night, my mother and I watched Bueno Nacho and Tick Tick Tick. Those are really good episodes. I don't think she understood how the Tick got on Kim's nose. It's all like that Bacchae ep on Xena. You don't see the Bacchae bite Gabrielle but it happens. I was so touched by Mer Mer's entry on Sunday, she wrote, "Ashley--I'm so sorry that your computer hates you! I know EXACTLY what you've been through. If you can find the actual Windows disk and all of your other important disks, there's a way to totally take everything off the hard drive and basically start your computer over (but that takes time and you loose ALL the files and everything)...I'll keep my fingers crossed that something works out with that hunny!" And how weird, something did work out. Maybe I will get to do something to do with a MiST. LOL. I miss my characters, I miss writing about them. I'm joining Ramen Pride tomorrow. It's an anime related show liking club. Asian Culture. KP counts as that right? All the animators were Asian peeps. LOL. LOL. The "Get APB/AW a Dell Laptop with Windows XP or something similar fund." has 24 dollars and 30 cents. LOL. Hey, if this works out with DCA I'll get to use it as the "Get Ashley a yearbook for 04/05" fund. LOL. Tomorrow I'm submitting my story to be critiqued. It's the one called "The Vacuum Phobic." LOL. This idea of a new computer makes me nervous. Hmm. LOL. I'm no longer Le sighing. Hmm. Yay for the Snape fans! Thought/Quote of the day: "The Possible dream team. Miss Possible and Mr. Stoppable, looking for a place to snog I expect?" - Professor Severus Snape to Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable on their being out of bounds, Kim Possible's Harry Potter: Chapter 9 Word of the day: vexatious Lots of Love, Hugs, and Kisses to the readers and fan. Hakuna Matata and remember the stories. They need love too. |
