*FANFIC* Kim Possible: Moodulator Repercussions*FANFIC*
Disclaimer: This story is based off of my interpretation of the ending of Emotion Sickness. Kim Possible and the episode of Emotion Sickness are not mine, they are Disney's, Bob Schooley, and Mark McCorkle. However, this story is mine. Happy Reading. Kim Possible stood in front of her mirror, looking at the moodulator that had been on the back of her neck, now in her hands. What a weird device-- to control people just based on emotions. But, then again, it was so typical of scientists; Kim was surprised that Drakken had not created it. She looked at herself, she was still in her Middleton Days Festival dress attire. She could not believe what had happened to her while the moodulator was attached, she was in love with Ron? She suspected he was hurt by her little outbursts of love and hate in just a few short hours time. She set the moodulator on her dresser. She took off her earrings she was wearing and stuck them back in the case in which they belonged. She rarely wore earrings; fights with Shego were often already brutal, she didn't need a torn ear or two to go with that as well. Kim had to admit, she looked hot in her outfit. She smiled. Her parents were so disappointed when she told them of how the moodulator had created all those feelings and Ron and her were not together. If her cousin Ashley ever found out, which was likely seeing as they lived in the same town, went to the same school, and were closely related, she would be more than disappointed as well. She sat down on her bed and took off her bracelets; they were very klunky, Ashley had given them to her a few Christmases back. She always liked the style Ashley had, even if it was totally not Kim's style. She put the stilettos back into their shoe box. She laughed as she remembered what Ashley called them, "The Foxy Hottie Chick Shoes." Kim removed the black dress, put it back on the hanger and into the back of her closet. Kim wondered why the moodulator had given her so much emotion. Ron told her that she had cried about silly things; losing the Kimmunicator and Ron breaking up with her, which she wondered why he considered such a thing to be silly and why Ron would want to break up with her. He had not justified his answer, only saying that it had to do with their friendship. She sighed. She put on her pajamas and laid on her bed. Wade had told her as soon as they got the Kimmunicator back what he saw. She had kissed Ron. On the lips. Talk about your blackmail. She touched her lips gently. She decided to resolve any unresolved issues with Ron tomorrow. They weren't together. Those feelings the moodulator created weren't real, were they? She waved it off, held Pandaroo tight and went to sleep. ... Ron Stoppable was at his house. It was an eventful evening. Oy. Actually it was an eventful day. In one day, he saw his entire friendship with Kim, all 12, 13 years of it tested. So, the moodulator had created all those feelings, huh? Rufus popped out of his pocket, gave him a comforting squeak, and Ron nodded. Ron wondered if the moodulator feelings were created or not. He had to admit, it was nice seeing Kim show some emotion. Being that Kim was a teen superhero slash crimefighter, she detached herself from her emotions. Ron thought it to be unhealthy. I mean, sure Kim didn't like crying, but there was nothing wrong with a good cry on occasion, right? But, oy vey, he knew she had a temper, sure, he had grown up seeing squabbles between Kim and Ashley, but that moodulator certainly made her temper a little crazy. It was like she had became a female wrestler and was kicking the other guy's butt-- hard. He still couldn't believe the crush was just moodulator. That was a downer. Okay, sure it was kind of freaky that she kept giggling, but it was kind of fun running away from her through the school. He had to laugh; when Kim wanted something she was going to get it. The kiss, though. He was haunted by it. She should not have kissed him; moodulator or not. Granted, it was a wonderful kiss. Wow. He could still taste her strawberry lip gloss. But, she shouldn't have kissed him. He didn't want to feel that when he couldn't be with her. He hated having to decide; keep the friendship intact and break up with her, or ruin 13 years of friendship so they could be together. But, he knew it was better to do the former; his friendship with her meant so much to him. From T or Ting to saving the world to silly little arguments to... he yawned. He decided it was time to go to bed. And so, he went to sleep. ... The next day, Kim and Ron talked at Bueno Nacho. "So, there are no hard feelings, Ron?" Kim asked. "How could there be? It was just a microchip." Ron said. "I mean, you didn't exactly know what was going on?" "I did, only, I probably was hindered by the microchip," Kim said. She realized she would hate if this caused a riff in their friendship. He meant so much to her. And yet... she could never word it the way she wanted to. Her cousin, being the artist she was could, but Ashley was the last thing she needed. "So, we cool?" Kim asked. "Like a crisp winter day," Ron said. "Cool." They gave each other a high five. Kim smiled. She was glad she had resolved some unresolved issues for the time being. She pushed it to the back of her mind as they ordered some Bueno Nacho. The End. |
