*FANFIC* Kim Possible: Musings in Time*FANFIC*
Disclaimer: Kim Possible is not mine, though sometimes I wish she was. This lovely Disney Princess in her own way is owned by Disney, Bob Schooley, and Mark McCorkle. I do not own nor write the three episodes in which this story is based; Present, Past, and Future; A Sitch In Time. Bill Motz & Bob Roth wrote them. However, I do own this story that takes into perspective the missing time in which Kim is missing from after she is seen looking at herself and Ron at age 4 until she meets her 12 year old self. Happy Reading. "Can I drop you off in the early 21st century?" Rufus 3000 asked Kim Possible. "No thanks," the redhead teen hero Kim Possible replied. "I'll just wait here in the good old days." She walked across the street to the preschool where she had attended just twelve years prior. It was a moment that was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Herself and her best friend, the very moment they became friends. A friendship that had thus far stood the test of time and was currently standing the test of distance. As bummed out as Kim was because of Dr. Drakken still having the Time Monkey and Ron being an ocean away from her, it made her heart swell with pride to see herself at age four. She leaned against the fence, gently, as to not make noise, with her right arm above her against her forehead, the left against her waist. She watched as a friendship would last a lifetime and stand the test of fights, time, distance, villains, and saving the world was created. She watched as Ron at age four picked up a red ball. Kim sighed gently. He handed it to her younger self and said, "Did that one kid have opposable toes?" I had forgotten how cute Ron was, and still is, Kim thought affectionately. The younger Kim smiled at him and, "You're weird, but I liked you." There it was. Six words, and that's all it took. Ron was weird, but she liked him for it. It was a beautiful scene. One that others would kill to see; to see them and their best friend at the exact moment they met. The little girl with pigtails looked so innocent. Kim found it hard to believe that that little girl would grow up to become a crime fighting cheerleader who saved the world. To become The Kim Possible. To become her. The Kim and Ron of age four had no idea what was ahead of them; watching movies and crushes, Halloweens and Christmases, her brothers and villains... sure they got a glimpse of it now... but... She watched as Kim and Ron of age four went back inside. She didn't remember what happened after that; isn't it horrible how some of the best moments are never remembered? She sat down against the fence, she would sit and wait for Rufus 3000, for when Drakken made his next move. Plus, she needed to get back her energy from the fight with Shego, just minutes before. She picked up a tiny buttercup near her and smelled it. Ah, the essence of Middleton twelve years ago... what was the exact year? It had to be around the early 90s, Kim didn't dwell on it too long. She was still amazed at how low Drakken went. To do harm to her at the tender age of four. To get rid of me before I became a problem, Kim thought tenderly. It reminded her of The Terminator movies. Of course, she didn't like to watch it too much. Ron, who always was her movie watching partner, would squirm too much during Kyle and Sarah's love scene. It was a great movie though. She guessed Drakken saw it too, for the "no fate but we make," thing. She sort of believed that as well; Kim always believed she was in charge of her own fate, destiny, and all that other stuff. She sighed. A blue portal appeared within feet of her. She prepared to get up. "Where does the Supreme One strike next?" Kim asked immediately. "You first mission," Rufus 3000 said. "I'm there." The End. |
