longo entry, Disney, the Rye
6:40 p.m. on February 16, 2005

Good evening! How are you doing? I'm doing pretty good today.

Congrats to the DLand Creator Andrew (ALL HAIL THEE MIGHTY ANDREW!) who had a baby recently with his wife.

I hope you enjoyed the 4 to 5 pages or so of the Continuity timeline thing I did last night. Worth it, it's updated and I have an 8 page thing in my room. LOL. I'm so organized, w00t

Last night I watched Rugrats Go Wild! I love the Rugrats and the Wild Thornberrys just make it even funner. LOL. I mean, I just love how the Rugrats go through these life threatening sitches. It just rocks! And plus I love them almost as much as I love Kim Possible.

I also watched The Princess Diaries 2. Before I go on to say that, I want to say that I noticed this about Disney. For the first 30, 40, 50 years of Disney, at least up until, like, the 80s, all (or most) of the female main characters/heroines/etc of their movies (animated or not) and tv shows (again, animated or not) were like, Snow White and Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, they would fall for the first man to kiss them and they avoided conflict and they were like, wimps. And they didn't follow their heart. You can't tell me that Snow White wasn't a fucking wimp, all right! And then, BAM! sometime in the 80s, I think it might have been Belle or Ariel who were the first ones to start this, but, all of sudden Disney erupted with this strong, female main characters/heroines who were pretty and somewhat powerful at the same time. Plus, they followed their heart. Like, take dear Belle, she gave up everything for her father, to me that's strong. And Ariel, gave up her life in the sea for Prince Eric. And then, if you look at KP and Mulan, who are like the epitome of Disney Women who kick arse, the same goes for them as well, who fight for what they believe in.

Now, PD2. I loved it. I really think Mia is one of the Disney Princesses, even if she's not animated. It was such a good movie. I was like, "OH MY GOD! CLARISSE!" I don't want to reveal anything but I wanted to like scream at Mia and Clarisse, you freaking go girls! LOL. It was such a good movie. Like, there's this plot twist that now that I think about I would not have had any other way.

I'm still debating about what to write. I know this weekend, I'll have alot of stuff to do, but I think I'll manage. I just need inspiration to strike. Damn Lady Inspiration, I hate her with a passion... and yet, I love her like a sister. LOL.

Speech. The test was okay. Mrs. Tower was out, but her son was subbing. He's cute. LOL.

Math. Worked on the TAKS notebook for a while. No problem. Kristen, Brooke, and Kym and I had this fascinating talk about stuff we plan to do our senior year. Like senior prank. LOL. They ought to do something good. LOL.

English. We started working on our um... little 10 different essays on Catcher in the Rye, I finished the first one already, which is about how he's inferior and superior to the reader. I'm doing the 2nd one tonight, which is what he means when he says "It kills me." when he talks. Nancy and I are working together, however, Drew wants the people who are working together to do their own essays and have one or two similarities... like the same thesis or similar quotes used.

Rumor has it, we're doing our schedules for next year in the next like few days or so. I only need like 4 classes, but I have alot that I want to take to fill my day. After all, 3 classes a day. It's not worth being at school till 11:45 or so. I would rather be at school for most of the day. Besides, I want to take Psychology and then a 4th Theatre class. And plus Film Study. My only sitch is what English class I'm taking. Either Dual Credit, Standard, or AP English.

History. We started the outline on the Cold War. This is a fascinating time in our history. Cashman stated something that I remember from The Golden Girls. Where Rose is worried about Nuclear War. And in the letter she writes to the Russian Premier and Reagan, she says, "I hear that there are enough bombs to blow up the world a hundred times." And to think, I've been worried about my potions final. Sorry. Serious. And to think, that all of these WMDs are still out there somewhere. Maybe we'll have like an asterioid coming at us and we can use them to kill the fucker like in Armageddon.

Chemistry. Oy. Started another section. Basically the second part to the what we just did. I plan to start studying now. The test is TBA next week, but we have TAKS English Next Tuesday.

Theatre. Moved some of the bloody risers up another notch to get some of the stuff way high. It's like evil in a way. I mean, seriously. Poor Jessica and Kaylie, they have to do some light adjustments tomorrow.

Health. I worked dilligently on my thing. I'm thinking about going a step further on mine and including a mini how the restaurant was created. LOL. It should be fun. Though, I might tweak a few things and what not.

Rehearsal. It was interesting. LOL. I was saying the bongs and ding dongs for the sound effects, which was okay. As they were doing stuff for like 'tude and stuff I starting thinking... like I always do. Like, there's this scene where Cassandra's character, Mrs. Smith, gets in Michael's character, Mr. Martin's face to yell at him and I was like thinking to myself, "You know, I can see Kim Possible doing stuff like that. LOL. I would love to see her act in The Bald Soprano. LOL. I can see Ron as Mr. Smith. Hehe."

It's the final KR quote today, tomorrow is the ever elusive TSS! LOL! Even though, I don't necessarily agree with this quote, I still like it. And TSS has one week of quotes. Haha!

Thought/Quote of the day: "Giving up the danger is so worth it for Christy." -- Kim Possible Stoppable to her mother on retiring from saving the world, Kim Possible: Kim's Retirement Part 3

Word of the day: Trinity

Hakuna Matata, and some other philosophies that I have. WWKPD too. Rock the hula, lol!
