mystery, fic writing, and video renting!
Konichiwa fans! How are you? I'm doing perfectly peachy keen. The mysterious bruise on my right hand that I got last week mysteriously is slowly healing. In fact, the ugly darker bruising on my knuckle has gone lighter. And no, I'm pretty sure I did not have a fight. So that's out. Last night, I wastched Recess: School's Out and Dinosaur. I love Recess, the show and that final movie. I mean, it's one of Disney's greatest cartoons. Granted, it's just about a couple of kids that are in the 4th grade, and they were in the 4th grade for 6 years, but, I digress. It was still a very good show. And I just love the conversations between Prickly and TJ. TJ and Spinelli were like two of my favorite characters. Gretchen was okay, but, I liked them the best. Plus, Spinelli is one of Disney's like, female main characters who kick arse. She rocked for that reason and that reason alone. LOL. Dinosaur. We all know how I love movies about dinosaurs. After all, I did spend about a couple of days writing KPJP. But, I love it, because it gives that little insight to the meteor that killed the dinos 65 million years ago. I mean, did you see that thing that hit the water in the beginning? I got goosebumps when I watched it, it was just that awesome. And I don't mean, the awesome as in cool, I mean it, in like the sense of like, how huge it is. You know, like when someone says, "The Awesome power of God."? Yeah. And, plus all of these great negro actors are in this movie too. I mean, Ossie Davis (may he rest in peace!), Della Reese, Alfre Woodard (I love her in The Core), and Samuel E. Wright. LOL. There were two TLKoB original cast members in the cast. LOL. And you gotta remember dear ol' Hayden Panettiere... and I still can't spell her damn name! So, I started writing my next fic. This one is a real life inspired (literally) fic. It has an event that happened last year. I am currently 6 pages into a fic in which Kim deals with the tsunami in southeast Asia. I first got the idea after reading the update of the Ron Report at the beginning of the year. I thought about it a bit, but then I shelved it. This was because, as I told DCA, I could not even bear to talk about it (in fact I mentioned it once in my diary to my memory), and what made me think I could write about it? After all I only indirectly referenced to it, Jan 3rd, "Get this, in CC's tv guide it said that last night, Johnny Tsunami would air, but instead, they aired You Wish. I can understand that. It would have been a little insensitive if they aired JT." As well as, Jan 1st, "The second collection was for the Tsunami victims in Asia. I bought ten dollars from my Christmas money to donate. I personally felt the need. I didn't talk about it when it happened because I didn't and couldn't." So, I shelved it, and now that 2 months almost have gone by, I think I can do this fic now. Granted there's a lot of stuff that I might get wrong because I'm just a simple writer, but I still remember seeing clip after clip after clip of rushing water, people crying, and destruction. But, I might be able to get out some of my feelings on this through my sweetie Kim. This late morning I watched Mulan. I love that movie. It's just so awesome. "There are a couple of things I know they're bound to notice!" I love that. I mean, that's true. And like, there's a lot of like innuendos too. I mean, a crossdressing young Chinese woman among a bunch of men... yeah. And lol. When Fa Zhou came on the screen the very first time I said, "*squeal* Fa Zhou! YAY! *giggle*" LOL. Fa Zhou rocks. So, mom and I headed over to Hwood Video to see if they had Mulan II available. Nope to that. This is gonna take forever. So I rented Jurassic Park III, and both Tomb Raiders. I just watched the first one. Man, Angelina Jolie, Lara Croft, Tomb Raider, she makes Kim Possible look like a girl scout. Kim looks like a 7 year old in comparison to her. Hehe. But still love KP of course. I found out last night that no new episodes are airing in March... on Friday that is. Of course, for all we know there might be a few episodes during the week. But I doubt that. And then there's the impending doom coming towards the American fans. The threat of the UKers and them seeing S T D. Spoilers galore, huge changes, and stuff floating around the net. Gonna be hard to avoid. DCA made me worry. LOL. My mom has her own theory. They'll have all the new episodes in a marathon the day the movie airs. LOL. She and I talked about what Kim and Ron would be like if they were theatre peoples. I was like, "They would be just like..." and she said, "Lucy and Desi." And I said, "Oh my God." LOL. I love Lucille Ball and I Love Lucy as much as the next guy, but gosh no. Thought/Quote of the day: "Kim nodded, Ron nodded, Selina Dobbs nodded apparently catching on." -- Narrator on the Stoppable and Dobbs way of avoiding speaking, Kim Possible: The Second Switch Part 2 Word of the day: conversion Hakuna Matata, WWKPD, and all that good stuff. |
