Shakespeare, TAKS testing, KP!
Good evening my few but loyal fans! How are you? I'm doing really good. Last night, after watching JP3, I realized that I needed to do (not needed, but I wanted to do it, mind) for the DCA/AB fic play we're doing.. So I popped in Pocahontas for inspiration, since the time of our play is 7 years prior to the movie setting, and I got inspired. The thing I had to do was one of DCA's greatest ideas. I was like, "OMG, we have to do that." Here's a hint, two famous Brits of that time have a cameo. Oh you know what? I'll just tell you. William Shakespeare and Queen Elizabeth I, have scenes. Yes, The Bard and The "Virgin" Queen! I loved the idea, so I did a short scene. Granted the scene I wrote was just a page, but it's a good page at that. I typed it out this morning. It took like 5 minutes. So, I was writing last night. One of my downsides was that I forgot the year The Bard was born... Yes, I forgot. I thought he was born 1523, which would have been impossible, because he would have been 93 when he died, but he was born actually 41 years later (there's a huge difference at that) in 1564. Which would make him about 20 years ish older than KP in 1600, he was about 36 then. I just had to reveal that one little snippet (DCA, don't be mad!) because I was like bursting. LOL. I'm prolly gonna send in my pen to be fixed sometime in the next day or so. Just to get it done and stuff. I wanted to write the start of my next story, which is this story where KP is blinded temporarily, but I didn't know where to start. Alas, no inspiration. But, Lady Inspiration will come. This morning, I went to go talk to my counselor again. More on that later. TAKS testing. That was okay. Being in a room until nearly 2 o clock is kind of old and tired very quickly. The first part, the reading and written composition was okay. There were two pieces related to World War II, about two kid's loss of innocence during the war. And then the essay. That one was about explaining how a single event can change/ have a lasting effect on someone's life. The event that I chose was related to my writing. Which was the very moment I saw KP... granted, I have little memory of that, but, hey. Seeing that show has had a huge effect on my life. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be as great a writer as I am now; I wouldn't be as strong; I wouldn't know what I want to become; I wouldn't have 79 stories to be proud of. Then the revising and editing part. I did fine. The two pieces were interesting. One was about Shakespeare and the other was "written" by a girl name Kim. LOL. I thought it was completely ironic. My favorite playwright and my favorite tv show characters's first name. Lunch was fine. I had a chicken sandwich. Math. Nothing done. We sat around and talked. Kristen and Carly had fascinating weekends. Carly had some problems with a chick; Kristen was getting ketchup on her friend Brittany. Trust me, long story. But you gotta love them, cuz they rock. English. As soon as I got into her class, Drew interogated me about how I did on the test. When she asked me about what I wrote about I said, "stuff." Mainly because it was personal, which she figured out to mean. She asked if I got commended. I said, I hope so. I was so disappointed in Nancy, she didn't get a single essay done, whereas, I'm completely finished. And it is due on Thursday. Chem. She went over the stuff we did on Thursday. Turns out, I got a lot of stuff right. Actually, I missed like 1 problem. That's really good. I'm so proud of myself. I have a quiz tomorrow. I'll be studying for sure. Which reminds me, I should study for the SAT soon. And I've got to sign up for the AP test. Theatre. We did stuff. I actually don't remember. LOL. I was in class for about a minute or so for Health. I asked her if I could go to Mrs. McGrew's class (English 2 Honors; Last Year), she told me I could. So I went. McGrew and I went to the registrar's office, which has all the grades from the last few years in boxes. LOL. Seriously. I turns out, I got a 92 for the year, and for the final 9 weeks, a 97. That rocks my socks. So, now it's all finished. And guess, who I encountered in the office. My dear old pal Mr. Boyd. He and I argued like we always do. I told him I'm taking 3 of his classes. He's great, though he's psycho. But you gotta love him. I plan to get a few mags and try to sell them if I can tomorrow. It depends. 'hearsal. It was fine. I had to carry the 4 foot ladder up to the second floor twice. Talk about a chore. Then we went through the play. And now I'm here. LOL. You know what I realized? I'll have to put that I've taken 3 honors per year (check) as soon as I confirm my schedule for next year, seeing as I'm taking 5! I don't want to knock it by saying that I'll have a nervous breakdown... *knocks wood* TSS quotes end tomorrow, and then Thursday starts NCWK quotes!
