missive, quotes, anacondas
Hey readers! How are you doing? I am doing pretty good for the most part. I was running around fastweb.com this morning looking at Scholarships and what not. Le sigh. I swear, it'll become a necessary evil from now until I graduate from College. Please, for the sake of me, go slow time. It needs to go slow really slow. Today I got my unoffical class schedule for next year and a booklet of college info type stuff from a college in Kerrville, TX called Schreiner University. That's one of my choices. I swear this year is going to drive me insane for real. I mean, last year was just... a dip in the pool to what I'll have. My schedule for the following semester is Bible Study 1st period (I look forward to it), Physics honors 2nd (fun... not), Microeconomics AP Honors, 3rd (Joy...), Psychology 4th (fun for real, lunch shift), Humanities honors 5th, and English 4 Dual Credit 6th. I am excused from 7th period. Fun! I guess. Anyways. I saw Anacondas: Hunt for the Blood Orchid earlier today. It was an okay movie. It's the sequel of the one called "Anaconda" which had Owen Wilson, Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube (I think), and Jon Voigt. Or something. LOL. The movie started with 2 women, 6 men (2 white guys, 2 black guys, and the 2 guys who were the boatmasters) and it ended with one boatmaster, a black guy, and the women. Can you believe that? LOL. It's so sad. But I loved the women. I give them credit. One of them sliced the head off an anaconda. I understand why I am very strong opinionated on people who hate Harry Potter for some stupid reason but have not read the books. Mind you, I have not told this to anyone online. Very few people even know this. Back in 1999 and 2000, when I was a huge fan of the BabySitters Club series of books, I would hate hearing about Harry Potter. Mind, I had never read the books. I was busy reading a book series by Ann M. Martin where the characters stayed in the same grade for years and years and years. I hated Harry Potter for a reason I hardly remember anymore. I know, I know, le gasp! But, then in March (?) 2001 a red haired, green eyed young lady in 2001 (no, not Kim Possible, Katie Childs), while in SPMS Library pushed the 1st book on me. So, I read it. Mind, I was very much like, "this is boring..." when I read the first line: "Mr. and Mrs. Dursley of number 4, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much." Which I totally revere now. So, all you HP-haters out there I have a simple message for you: Shut the FUCK up and read the book BEFORE you pass judgment. AMEN! I had the worst cramps about an hour or so ago. It was absolutely horrible. I hate cramps. I caught the Discovery launch this morning. It was a lovely thingy. As I watched the camera on the fuel thingy being near Earth and all, I had an Ashism. I said and I quote, "What's that blue thing? Oh, I know, that's the Earth!" It was funny. Ah, lovely, the next quotes are a GIB quote, 3 quotes of CS, 2 quotes of SDS, and 2 of CB. Thought/Quote of the day: "Are you reading the books in which you appear?" "Yes, she is George. Harry isn't a cheerleader so how could she not?"-- George Weasley and Fred Weasley, on KP, Kim Possible: Greatness In Books Word of the day: lynching Hakuna Matata. |
