birthday, Katrina, ASIT, Golden

Hey readers! How are you all doing? I am doing pretty good today.

I am going to make this entry be kind of sort of short because I have a 6 part story to come out today ish.

Happy 46th Birthday to my mentor, my best friend, my brother David Clark Allen, who is also known by his given name that I'm still not used to: Douglas Rogez, and of course, the name that I knew him as when I first met him: Fa Zhou!

Bible. We read some stuff about Abraham. It was interesting.

Physics. We're doing a lab. LOL. It's crazy man. Like how fast the cars go on Weber Road at certain areas of the thing. LOL. Weber Road man. LOL.

Economics. A Lecture. So dull.

Psych. Test. It was pretty easy. No problems.

English. We showed her our college essay prompts. I have one for Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX. It's one of 2 Texas colleges I'm considering. There's like 5 others I'm thinking of.

Golden Palace was nice last night. It was interesting. Stan faked his death, cuz he is in trouble with the IRS. He visits Sophia, and tells her where he's going and what not. LOL. Stan, that yutz. I always am reminded of Dr. Drakken whenever I think of him.

This morning, I applied for Coca Cola Scholars Scholarship. 3rd one I've done. I swear, I'll need that. I have like 3000 ish so far, but that's like only enough for like books and room and board. Not even.

I watched A Sitch In Time (Present, Past, Future) and Adventures in Rufus Sitting. I love those episode. Especially ASIT. I mean, I always think of how crazy it was during the time that that episode premiered. AIRS was a lot of fun. I wonder if Ron ever got the pictures developed. There's got to be at least one pic of Kim on top of Killigan parachuting right behind Ron and his family on the Eiffel Tower. LOL.

I wrote about 3 or 4 pages last night. It was crazy. I got a little bit done, including a line ref to Dogma and a direct quotation to the infamous Gone With the Wind. Two things that were a great thing to my writings.

Hurricane Katrina. I know I don't usually talk about disasters; I never really did about the Tsunami in December. But, this hits so close to home. I've been through Louisiana in 1999 for my cousin Chad's wedding in Mississippi, and I love how awesome it looked... and we even drove right over the Mississippi River... however, I don't know if we drove through New Orleans or not. But that's not important. I mean, damn, I've seen the pictures, and it's crazy. I mean, this hurricane throws Andrew off the map! It's scary. My gran told me last night of these 2 Baton Rouge students (about 19 and 20; a girl and a guy) who were working for 32 hours straight to help out. I thought that was just awesome. It made me feel so good that there are people that are people like KP running around in our world of total chaos. D.C. also started showing the express yourself thingys related to hope and what not... the W.D. Company donated 2.5 I think for relief efforts.

I'd like to make a note that yesterday our gas prices were 3.99 and now, they are 3.79.
