*FANFIC* Kim Possible: Flu of Ashley Part 1*FANFIC
Disclaimer: I do not own Kim Possible. They belong to the Disney Company, as well as the two men who created them Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle. I, however, own the Possible-Benloves, as well as this story. This story is dedicated to anyone who has ever been sick with influenza, including myself, who caught it nearly two years ago in November. Happy Reading. Ashley Possible Benlove was lying in bed asleep. At her side was the beautiful off white close to cream colored Shih Tzu rightly named Cream. She slowly woke up. She whined. "Oh, I so don't feel good today. I feel hot and cold," Ashley said. She whimpered and then coughed loudly. The dog next to her woke up and looked at her. "What are you lookin' at?" Ashley said quietly. However quiet she said it, Cream still have her a sad look and walked to the end of the bed. "No, Cream, come back here. You don't deserve that, you're a good kid. I love you, sweetie," Ashley added. He walked back to her, and looked at her. He usually would get right up in her face and lick her in the morning, but this time he didn't. "I guess you can sense I'm sick. Look, do me a favor. Do a Lassie," Ashley said. "You know, go tell somebody about how I feel. See the ajar door? Go, go, go find my mommy." Cream jumped off the bed and ran out of the room. Ashley closed her eyes not moving at all. Several minutes later, Faith Possible Benlove and Brian Possible Benlove came into the room. Cream jumped on the bed and sat down next to Ashley. "Peach, what's wrong?" Brian said. "My whole body hurts, I feel hot and cold, and my nose is so stuffy like," Ashley said. Faith touched her daughter's forehead. "You're warm, really warm. I am not leaving you alone today," Faith said. "I however, have surgeries back to back, and Dad is in court today." "You know, next time, I'll try to choose a much more convienent time to get sick," Ashley said. "I'm sorry, Peach," Faith said. Cream barked. "Well, considering, it's a week long break from school... I'm sure Kim could take care of you," Faith said. Cream barked again. "I think he agrees with me," Faith said. "Can you move?" Brian asked. "And are you decent?" "I don't want to move, I'm cold and everything hurts. But I'm in my pjs," Ashley said. She slowly got out of bed, she had on a pair of baggy shorts and a long t-shirt. Her father wrapped her in a blanket that was lying on the bed. Faith went to the medicine cabinet, got some things and put it into a small bag. "Okay, in here is tissues, a thermometers, Vicks Vabor Rub, Robitussin, cough drops, and some other stuff," Faith said. "I wish I had time to make either Nana's or Megara's remedy for what you have. Come on, let's go." Cream barked as Ashley followed Faith out of the room. "I think he wants to go too," Brian said. "Well he is her protector," Faith said. "Go on, go ahead." Cream jumped off the bed and started to walk. Brian helped his daughter walk down the stairs. "If it's any consolation, Peach, at least these steps are about 30 or so. The Benlove plantations has about 450 or more," Brian said. Ashley whined. He helped her into Faith's car and put her into the backseat. Cream jumped in after her and lied down on top of her, growling slightly at Brian. "I'll see you later, sweetie," Brian said. "You have fun in court," Ashley said. Brian kissed his wife, and waved bye to the car. "Ugh, I hate how I feel," Ashley added as she wrapped herself in the blanket. "I know," Faith said. They arrived at Kim's house. Faith walked into the house, her daughter and the Shih Tzu in tow. They walked into the kitchen. "Hey, Faith," Dr. Mrs. Possible said. "Ashley and Cream." Cream yipped a short yip at her. "Quiet," Ashley said. "Sit." The dog sat down. "How are you guys?" Mrs. Possible asked. "I'm good, L. Ashley is kind of not feeling well. She's feelin' a little sick," Faith said. "A little?" Ashley said. "My body hurts, I'm congested, I think I have the flu, but to tell you the truth, I don't even know what day it is." She sat down on a chair at the table, saw the twins, Jim and Tim eating and pointed at them. "Evil!" "Ashley, come on, we all know that," a voice said. The lovely redhead Kim Possible walked into the kitchen. "Hey, cousin. What's up?" "I'm sick, that's what's up." "I'll take care of ya," Kim said. "Thanks. I'm at work all day and I can't do it. I got to get to work. Peach, take medicine, rest, use the stuff in the bag. Kim, make sure she does that," Faith said. "Come on, L." "Ashley, you have a stuffy feeling head correct?" Mrs. Dr. Possible said. "Yes," Ashley said. "Doesn't Nana have a hot toddy recipe?" "She does. It's brilliant. It's a family heirloom," Faith said. "Megara has a Benlove one as well. I wish I could remember where we keep it." "Come on, we gotta go. Jim, Tim, mind Kim," Mrs. Dr. Possible said. "Get up," Kim said as both female Dr. Possible's left. "You're going to bed." Kim helped Ashley up out of the chair, and Ashley slowly got up. Kim touched Ashley's forehead. "You are so warm." "I feel cold and hot," Ashley said sounding miserable. "Jim, don't you give that dog that bacon. Cream, stop begging," Kim said turning around. Cream jumped up and ate the bacon Jim had given him. "I knew he was going to do that. Cream doesn't listen to me," Kim said. "I would retort, but I don't feel like it," Ashley said. When they got into Kim's room, Ashley was tucked into Kim's bed by Kim. "Aunt Faith didn't figure out what you've got?" Kim said. She watched as Cream jumped on the bed. "No," Ashley said. Creamed curled up under the covers at Ashley's feet. Kim pulled out her Kimmunicator. "Hey, Wade, can you find out what Ashley has. She's got a nasty cold. I think," Kim said. "Hold the Kimmunicator at arm's legnth over her," Wade said. Kim did so; Wade scanned Ashley. "Ashley's got the flu, sinusitis, and some chest congestion," Wade said. "And Cream is fine." "Good for Cream!" Ashley said. "Bad for me." "She should get lots of sleep and drink lots of fluids," Wade said. End of Part 1. |
