Pat Morita, Raven, Kim, and Black Friday
Yo! Good afternoon my lovely readers! How are you all doing today? I'm doing really really kick ass. Granted I'm back to school on Monday, but that's okay. First of all, may Pat Morita, also known as "Wax on, wax off" guy from Karate Kid and The Emperor from Mulan and Mulan II rest in peace. As he died yesterday. I caught the new Raven episode. It was okay. Apparently Rae's group is seniors because they had their prom... of course, mind you, it could be their junior year (like I actually care!) which was the case with my girl Kim. Of course, Maddie from Suite Life had a prom and she is 15 (that's so sad, Ashley Tisdale is 20 years old and playing a 15 year old... of course, Will Friedle is over 25 and playing a 16 year old guy). But that's not the point. I'm guessing they made the episode be prom related prior to the show getting it's retarded and undeserving episode extension. She danced with somebody at the end, and the viewers had to spend the whole episode figuring out who it was because it was a vision and they only saw his ear and back of his neck. But, you know, I was wrong. I guessed Eddie, and it turned out be ol' Devon. My grandmother is on my shit list now. She decided yesterday to go shopping at the grocery store and Walgreens on BLACK FRIDAY! It was ridiculous. But it wasn't that bad. I tagged along for the ride because I had to get some items to donate to the Women's Shelter for the Thespian Civic Project. But, it was nice. Walgreen's had all these DVDs for under 10 bucks, of course, there were none that I wanted. They had a Friends DVD of the top 5 episodes ever, but that's more of Meredith's foray, you know? I caught parts of Doctor Dolittle. I think it's so funny that it was on D.C. even with all it's suggestive dialogue and scenes. In fact, the tv rating DC had for it was just "PG" no "PG" and then like "DL" at the bottom... which is common to see for a standard Girls episode. LOL. But, it's okay. I can tell you one reason why they had the movie on. Because two Disney Channel alumnis play Dr. Dolittle's daughters, Kyla Pratt (Penny Proud of Proud Family fame) and of course, Raven. And D.C. didn't even mention that Kyla Pratt was in it, because we all know that they only care about Raven. I really think that Disney is on my shit list as well. We had a thunderstorm last night. It was amazing. I had this feeling of foreboding and I was right. Apparently Hank was kind of sick ish last night. You know, like a fever and stuff and a rash. It was so sad, and ironic, because I had wrote TA hours before. And Hank is like my little brother. He's fine now, but he was sleepy and stuff. So I wrote TA last night and I think I'm done for this break. I do have 10 fics for the month. LOL. 155 fics. Isn't that just... mind blowing? I enjoyed writing it because it was one of those POV type fics without it actually being in the first person. LOL. I was thinking about this funny Jim and Tim scene that prolly happened within my canon. In CWA, Ashley says that the twins came home an hour before Kim did and that they "mauled her." Which I'm sure is so APB being overdramatic. But, I wonder what happened? Maybe I'll write it to start off December. I watched the Secret Files dvd last night. Starting with Crush (as the bonus episode). I like that on dvd because it has the original song playing in the dance, which is song by some guy, the credits don't say who, but I love seeing how beautiful the show looks on dvd. Then I watched Attack of the Killer Bebes, Downhill, and Partners. All these episodes, except one have Drakken in them. I mean, Downhill is still awesome. Except for the fact that DNAmy is throwing herself on Mr. Barkin. And, Killer Bebes, is kind of scary. I had funny thoughts during that one. And of course, Partners is amazing because there's some odd shippy stuff between Amy and Drakken. It's gross. But that's okay. And then I tried to go to bed, but I couldn't sleep so I watched Full Monkey at 11:30. LOL. It was nice. I was kind of annoyed that Ron couldn't figure out that that Monkey was NOT Kim. It's like, dude. And Bonding was on this morning, I was watching it with Hank by my side. I don't think it was any problem. I was like wondering to myself if Bonnie had any plans that were ended by her being stuck to Kim. Cuz we all know that Bonnie and Brick are screwing around. LOL. I found some funny ass stuff watching KP. I mean, I totally had to laugh by the fact that Kim's father and best friend are responsible indirectly and directly for the creation of two of her villains. James being responsible for Drakken coming to be, because he laughed at him in college and Ron being responsible for Senor Senior, Sr. coming to be. I mean, he had to go on and on about villainy. So, Kim can essentially blame her father and best friend/lover/etc for two of her villains. LOL. I just think that is so funny. There's other funny stuff, but I totally don't know. I noticed something. There is a recurring theme in some of my favorite books and movies and tv shows. It fits with the main themes of my fanfics as well. Most of my favorite books, movies, tv shows are all about friendship and love. I mean, Harry Potter, Golden Girls, Star Wars, Kim Possible, Phil of the Future, The Lion King, Gone With the Wind. And it fits. Because those two are the things that I care the most about. I also noticed that the D.C. has it's own cliches. 1. Guy and girl best friend who would make an awesome couple (Louis/Tawny, Kim/Ron, Lizzie/Gordo, Phil/Keely). 2. The main character's best friend is kind of dumb (Twitty, Ron, Keely, Chelsea). 3. The main character's father usually gets hurt in some way (James P, Lloyd Diffy, Sam McGuire, Victor Baxter). 4. The main character's little brother pisses the main character off. LOL. I love how Kim Possible is so not a children's show. I don't care what the ratings say. I mean, there's small hints that Bonnie and Brick are having hot fucking off screen, there's Shego who's like... not a G rated character. She just isn't. There's a million things. I just can't think of them. I don't care what anybody says. It's not a d.c. show. Thought/Quote of the day: "Ron, what are you doing?" "Shh."-- Kim Possible and Ares, God of War as Ron Stoppable, Kim Possible: Scary Pleasures Word of the day: brocade Hakuna Matata. |
