Ashley Possible-Benlove was a woman of twenty six. It was early January of the year 2014. It had been a few months since she had broken up with Tony, a mobster in Chicago. She was going to move to Australia for a while and spend a few months in the Land Down Under.

"Hey, if you meet Steve Irwin while there, say, 'Aw, crikey, that's a big croc!' Haha!" Ron Stoppable told her.

Kim Possible-Stoppable, his wife and Ashley's cousin, laughed. Her children were by her side. Young Christina, called Christy by everyone else, who was three was looking at her aunt and godmother and at her brother, William, called Will by everyone else, was in his mother's arms. Ashley kneeled down and hugged Christy gently.

"I'll miss you, Christy, sweetie. Be a good girl for mommy, okay?" Ashley said.

"'Kay!" Christy said.

Ashley then stood up, turned to her godson, Will, who when Ashley held open her arms to him, jumped into her arms. Ashley kissed Will on the forehead. The fifteen month old redhead cooed. "You be a good boy, okay? Listen to your Mommy. Love ya, shortie," Ashley said.

Ashley set the baby down, who played with his sister. Kim and Ron both hugged Ashley without a word. Ashley sighed. "I always feel so safe with you two around," Ashley said. "You're like two very well trained guard dogs." She sniffed. "Aw, I said I wasn't gonna cry in front of the redhaired midget and his sister!" Ashley kissed Ron's cheek and then Kim's cheek.

"Honey? You gotta go, your plane leaves in about three hours or so," Brian Benlove, Ashley's father said.

Ashley sighed and then said, "I love you all. I'll miss you. Bye."

Three hours after being dropped off at the airport, an eighteen hour flight to a lovely, coastal beach city in Australia, and after sleeping off her jetlag and trying to get used to the time change, she went to lie on the beach.

The beach had white sand, that whilst it was coarse, rough, and irritating to one's skin, one would ignore those facts because the sand was so beautiful. Crystal blue water, that even thought it was salt water, one was tempted to drink it. And last, but not least, the beautiful warm weather, that had she not been on the other side of the world, she would have forgotten it was January and not July.

There was a tanned, blond man about her age that she was watching surge, who came out of the water towards her. "Hi, Sheila," he said with the perfect Australian accent.

"Uh, my name's Ashley," she replied.

"Aye, that's what we Aussies call girls," he said. He set his surfboard down on Ashley's left and sat on the board. "I'm Nickolas, but me friends call me Nick."

"Can I call you Nick?" Ashley asked. She batted her long eyelashes at him.

"Of course you can."

Ashley giggled.

"So, are you American?" Nick asked.

"Yes, I'm from... born in California, lived there three years, lived in Georgia for 13 years, and California for about 4 and a half years, and then for a couple of years, in Chicago," Ashley replied.

"Righteous."

"So, what do you do?"

"I'm a surfer. Yourself?"

"Actress. Julliard School of Acting graduate."

The End.
