*6 pages handwritten, approximately 3 pages typed in Word Perfect 10, Times New Roman, font 12 *763 words *21 minutes to type out *Is the 221th Kim Possible fanfic that I have created since September 26th, 2003 in the fandom that I have made. *The 57th fic of 2006. *28th fic in the 8th notebook *The 91th fic since the beginning of my 3rd year of writing these fics (Sept 1st). *26th fic this summer *13th fic of this month. *Is the 10th fic to premiere/be finished the same date as a fic two years later. TFC is the fic two years prior that premiered on this date. *Most of this was written while listening to the Slow Jams CD, with a couple of songs on the Uptempo CD by Miss Janet Jackson. *All I had to do was look at this episode list I have and then I was like, "Rewriting History." and bam, six pages. *Kim and Ashley: "Ron and I both zoned out and fall asleep on a bench there. And, I swear to God-- we had the exact same dream." "Do tell!"-- Ashley kinda reminds me of Raven Baxter at this moment. *Ashley: "Yeah! I love history. I mean, I know all about the Benlove and the Possible family history! You don't think I'm the least bit proud of the 'Possible' in my name?"-- This is a nod to the person who Ashley is mainly based off: me. I love history. I would minor in that if I could. Ashley's Trip Home, March 2004 showed you how she loved the Benlove family history. *Ashley: "Well, I know all about the Possible side as well. Mim was born approximately in 1880 ish. I believe it was 1883. The family book does not give a date of death or even anything after she went on the lam. She's a mystery. For all we know, she could still be alive."-- So, what, there's a 121 year old woman out there, APB? *Kim and Ashley: "She was a real spitfire. A muckraker. Fearless. Could have been the greatest,"-- I had to watch Rewriting History twice for the help I needed. *Ashley: "Well, it's true. Mim was in her early twenties when she went on the lam. Family book says that its considered her 'death.' Now Mim did live here in Middleton one hundred years ago. She was one of the first women journalists, a supporter of women's suffrage and rights, and according to family legend or gossip, a passenger on the Titanic,"-- I'll say Mim was about 21 when 1904 was. The Titanic is a nod to another writer, who wrote something to that effect. I don't know if he/she ever finished the fic... *Ashley: "Colonel Zin Possible was said to have a child with a slave woman and to have slept with Mrs. Thomas Jefferson,"-- I apologize to all the African Americans reading this fic for Ashley's mention of slavery and any other occurance in which APB refers to slavery at any given time in the future. I thought the Mrs. Thomas Jefferson was funny. *Ashley: "My Benloves... okay, yeah, I'm forty five percent sure someone down the line slept with slaves and maybe a president too, but be nice! Don't act like the Possible line is so holy and clean. They all weren't good. You're not related to Jesus Christ, Kim, like Bethany in Dogma, so, don't be all, you know."-- That's funny too, because it foreshadows to KPD in a way, even though I don't consider this to be a part of the KPD Universe. *Margaret Possible is Ashley's 100 years ago mirror person. Like Mim was for Kim. In Ashley's Trip Home, in a scene that is still in the notebook but is not in the actual fic, APB finds a diary of a Scarlett O'Hara rip off named Serena Hope Benlove, who is like Ashley's Benlove mirror person. *Ashley: "Well, Jon and Mim were supposedly an item according to Maggie. Jon Stoppable died trying to find the invention that Mim supposedly stole and Maggie even said that they slept together. They were best friends since age four."-- Maggie is so a gossip! Good stuff! *Love the Will & Grace thing. |
