fanfic update, monkeys, and soundtrack
Konichiwa readers! How are you all doing? I'm doing pretty cool. August ends tomorrow. Crazy, isn't it. 8 months of 2006 are already down. I watched an early episode of Even Stevens. It had the moment that Louis and Tawny later talk about in the final episode (not the movie) of the show during their little videos to each other. It was pretty cool. I watched most of Sick Day and Truth Hurts. It was pretty cool I guess. English Comp. Went to the Writing Center, turned out nobody was there, so I scheduled an appointment for 11:30 with a woman named Jennifer, whom I met about 3 hours later. It was a good interview. Seminar. We got into groups to discuss apathy related to people between 18 and 24 when it comes to elections. Then we got homework to write down a list of songs that would be part of like... a soundtrack to our life. Basically songs that describe our life now. I'm choosing songs that really work for me. I've already chosen Never Gone by the Backstreet Boys, Empty and Would You Mind by Miss Janet (gotta represent!), and Avril Lavigne's Complicated. Luckily it's not due for a week or so, but I can do it in like 30 minutes. Plus, we can have any amount of songs. History. We had a lecture about Colonial Virginia and some slavery stuff. It was rather irritating. I mean, the slavery stuff, it personally made me angry. You know? But, it was interesting. Poli Sci. We took notes on stuff related to the first chapter of the book. It was fine. I watched Dirty Jobs. Most of the episode was related to South Africa and this monkey sanctuary. Mike Rowe and like a group of 4 or 5 crew members were like stuck there because of a friggin monkey. I later dreamt about an annoying cat. Fic update. I had to figure some stuff out, because I know for a fact that Kim and Ron married when they were ABOUT 21, and that 2014 is about 5 years or so into the Possible-Stoppable union within the KPD Universe. So, I chose a time that is about 5 years after the events of KPD. Not a big thing, but that's okay. I wrote about 2 pages. half of it was narration and half of it was dialogue. I watched 2 episodes of ADJL that were greatly connected. The Academy and then the one before that with the Krylock Demon. I love how intense Jake is. It's amazing.
