The Virginia Tech Massacre
Good day. How are you all doing? I am okay. I'm still in shock. Like everyone else in the country, I cannot believe what had happened in Blacksburg, Virginia at Virgina Tech yesterday. It is the deadliest mass shooting in US History, 33 people, including the gunman were killed. I can't believe this is happening again. School shootings are horrible. Young people, women, and students are always killed. Why is this happening in our society where people who are upset with the society go out and kill people who did nothing to them? It makes me sick. I hope the guy who did it, who's been identified as Cho Seung-hui, burns in Hell. I'm not a fire and brimstone type, but I can't help but feel like this. I wore purple today in honor of what happened, and I'm wearing orange now. My thoughts and prayers are with Virginia Tech right now. It makes me feel so unsafe at school. It makes me feel unsafe in general. I have literally felt like crying about this. And I don't know any of the victims. I know that at least two RS.net members possibly knew victims, I think one of them is a student at the school. It's really scary that this happened. God Bless all those affected by this terrible tragedy.
(P.S. that's not mine, that's someone else's) This whole thing reminds me of my junior year of high school. Late 2004 to Early 2005. That was a weird year. More than 14 bomb threats and the tragedy of my US History class. I kept thinking about that horrible car wreck from November 2004 in which my class lost two students and one was injured. So, I watched Godzilla last night. Good movie. Crazy stuff. I bought 3 dvds from Barnes and Noble. The Core, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, and The Day After Tomorrow. US History. The New Deal stuff and World War II. Poli Sci. Some stuff about taxes and education. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Virginia Tech.
