Notes of Mary's Secret.
*18 pages handwritten, approximately 8 pages typed in Word Perfect 10, Times New Roman, font 12 *2989 words *1 hour and 18 minutes to type out *Is the 261th Kim Possible fanfic that I have created since September 26th, 2003. *The 11th fic of 2007. *20th fic in the 9th notebook I've used since the beginning. *The 31th fic since the beginning of my 4th year of writing these fics (Sept 1st). *1st fic this summer *1th fic of this month. *The idea of one of the KPD children being gay has been with me for a long time, so I decided that Mary would be the one. *Narr: December 2041. The Possible-Stoppable family was preparing for Christmas as well as the seventeenth birthday of Kim and Ron Possible-Stoppable’s youngest children: twins. Mary and Rufus were born on the fifteen of December in 2024, nine months after the Jurassic Park incident. Mary Ruth was the oldest. She was stunning beauty with red hair slightly past her shoulders and green eyes; hair and eye color just like her mother. She was shinny with a small waist and bust. She weighed about one hundred and fifteen pounds and was five feet four inches tall. She was a seemingly reserved girl, slightly overwhelmed by the greatness of her parents. Rufus Peter was her ten minute younger fraternal twin. He was blond haired and brown eyed, like his father. His hair, however, was slightly longer. Barely shoulder than the Weasley twins’ hair in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire film. He was skinny with some buffness. He was sensitive and sweet; quiet. He was about 145 pounds and five feet four inches tall, like his sister.-- His hair is like fictional characters from a movie made 36 years before? I like this description. *Mary is the one who gets to drive. Isn't that nice that they can already drive by themselves at the age of 16? *Narr: Mary met up with her friends over in a courtyard of the school. Caroline, a brunette, blue eyed girl who was Mary’s best friend, was sitting with three other girls. One was Elisa, a blond haired, blue eyed girl with a European body and feeling to her. Then, Jane, a full figured average height girl with blue-green eyes and black hair. And, Jade who had strawberry blonde hair with honey brown eyes and a body similar to Mary.-- I wrote down the meaning of their names in my notes. I didn't need to but I wanted to. Elisa and Jane who don't appear anywhere else but here have God related meanings. I chose the names because I liked them. Caroline because I watched Sabrina The Teenage With while writing the fic, and Caroline Rhea stars in that show. Elisa because it's a pretty name and very similar to Elise Firotino in Kim Possible's Golden Girls. Jane, because that is one of the names I consider to be the most plain (Sarah and Mary are the others) and she's described as plain. Jade, because I like that name and represents for me, the physicality of the perfect woman. Which is kind of the reason I made her bi. *Elisa: “Is it because you and Luke broke up?”-- You can guess why I made that name so. Star Wars and watching it while I wrote. ;d *Mary: “Oh come on! Like teenagers need anymore libido or sexual desire than we already have. Half of the people our age have sex like no tomorrow,”-- I love that. *Ron: “Kim, if you don’t go to sleep, I’m going to put that pillow on your head,”-- There's a similar line by Paul's wife in The Green Mile. I think his name was Paul. Well, Tom Hank's character's wife says that at one point. *I love the discussion in bed scene. It's funny. Kim's like, fretting and Ron's like, sleepy. *Kim and Christy:“You want anything to eat or drink?” “How about a beer?”-- Yeah, a Terminator 2 reference. Hah. *I like how Kim puts in a zing by being like, "why don't I have grandchildren?" Which, of course, she probably would still be on that, being that in this timeline Whole Family Together was happening 6 months before. *I like how Destiny Hope Possible-Benlove Thespiniski makes a cameo appearance. *Part 3 seems kind of preachy, but that's how it should be. Parents should be accepting of their kids being gay, no matter what. Friends too. *Christy: “You know, when Mom gave me ‘t the talk’ at the age of twelve, she made special notice to say that ‘hormones make you aware of boys or girls, or both,’ and I told her that I’m only into boys but there’s nothing wrong with the other team. And there isn’t. I have no issues with it.”-- She quotes her mother VERBATIM, nearly 20 years after it happens. Good stuff. *Rufus likes Elisa? Hah. *I was going to have a line in the fic, "Nowadays it's more socially acceptable/easier/etc to be gay." being that this was written in the future, 1941, with 34 years between now and then. As it is my fervent hope that it is way easier for homosexuals by the time 1941 rolls around. I was gonna have a God reference but I never got it in. |
