Pirates, Kim Possible, and Scrubs
Good afternoon, mateys. How are you? I'm all right. Fangirlish and upset. News just broke that Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle have left Disney Studios for greener pastures, which basically means, season 4 is the last season of the show. Mainly because Disney didn't want any more KP. I knew it. Jerks. But, Kim Possible is Bob and Mark's baby, just as Star Wars is George Lucas's baby and Harry Potter is J.K. Rowling's baby. I just hope that season 4 is completed by them and not someone else, because it would just be... devastating. It would. Kim, Bob, and Mark have my loyalty, and I feel that the fight for season 5 shouldn't go on unless Bob and Mark are working with the redhead, themselves. Because, they made her. It's their baby. They created this wonderful show that came into my life 4 years ago this August and I will always love her. She will always have a place in my heart as the main influencer in the person I am today. Thank you, Kim. And thank you, Bob and Mark. Deep inside me, I knew that this would be the year in which Kim ended. I believe that it's destiny, because Harry Potter is going to complete this year as well, that two of my favorite things are going on to be just memories by the end of this year. I must admit, that I didn't have the same great feeling of "I know we're gonna win" with the fight for five as I did with the first fight. Nabu has said many times that all good things must come to an end. Harry is ending this year, and now Kim. Whether or not I can handle that is a question for myself. But, I feel that I can because... I believe something major is going to happen in my life this year that will change my life in an even bigger way than Kim Possible or Harry Potter did. I mean, yeah, I think I'll prolly still try a bit for a season 5, but I think it's time to let go. Now, it's time to fight for the seasons on DVD. So, I think Scrubs is one of my new favorite shows. I just printed out the tv guide of that show because I like the show. Which is weird, because Becky Connor from Roseanne is in that show and it's about a hospital. But, I love it and it's funny. Plus, season 7, coming this September is the end. Which should have been a note to me because most of the shows I've ever liked, I get into when they are near end or over already. So, I went to the 1:30 showing of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End yesterday. I gave it a perfect score. I loved it. It grabbed at my heartstrings, I nearly cried, I laughed, I was happy, I jumped, I was so engaged in the movie. It was amazing! Spoilers start here. I loved the marriage on the ship in the middle of a battle in a maelstorm. That was AMAZING. And by Barbossa, who I honestly hated. I don't know. I would have rather seen him die than anyone else in the film. I loved Jack's return. Norrington's death made me incredibly sad. As did Will's death. I was thisclose to crying like a baby. I felt really happy and proud as a woman and a fan of Elizabeth Swann (mainly the beautiful Keira Knightley) when she became captain. I mean, crazy Singaporean guy is like... dying and he makes her captain. I loved it. The ten years thing pissed me off and deeply upset me. I mean, big fan of love over here. Will and Lizzie are like... they are like... for me, Kim and Ron. They made me think of them. The death of the Gov'nor made me sad, but at least he's going to be with her mum. I didn't realize Jack's dad was his dad until I whispered to my mum "Is that Keith Ridhards?" and she said yes and then I was like... okay. I loved when Jack voted for Elizabeth as the Pirate King. It was GREAT. I was so happy when Cutler Beckett died. I hated him so much. I loved that four men have kissed Elizabeth, some crazy Asian Pirate, Jack (the sexiest of all the kisses), Norrington (I adore him for some stupid reason), and Will. I loved the implication of them having sex and when the wooden eye guy (I hate him) said, "I release you from your human form." or whatever he has to say. It turned Calypso on and I loved it. Normally I hate long movies because I drink too much soda and then I have to run to the bathroom. It happened 3 or 4 times when I saw Titanic (30 minutes longer than this movie) and with Revenge of the Sith (every single time I saw it in the theatre) but I was smart and sipped my soda barely. I only went to the bathroom after the movie was finished and I went home. I believe that it is fate that this movie came out on the 30th anniversary of Star Wars coming out. I'm hoping that this movie will get $200 million in the box office. I love this movie and I believe it shall be on the top 25 of my favorite movies of all time list. It was such a good movie. I want to see it again. I want it on DVD. I think it's going to get the same devotion I give to Star Wars, Harry Potter, and KP. How can you not like pirates? The Word of the day is the thing that was where Sirius Black died. Ironic, considering what happened today... Thought/Quote of the day: "After this Bonding thing we're going back to our regular ways."-- Bonnie Rockwaller, Kim Possible: Kim and Bonnie by myself, August 2006 Word of the day: dais Hakuna Matata.
