*FANFIC* Kim Possible: Mary and Luke Talk*FANFIC*
Disclaimer: I do not own Kim Possible or related characters. I do own the Kim Possible's Dogma Universe which I started writing more than 3 years ago and I do own most characters in this fic. I dedicate this to any gay men that were with women, and gay women who were with men. Happy Reading. "So, Elisa, arrived in France ten minutes ago?" Mary Stoppable asked on her cell phone as she sat on the towl over sand out on the backyard beach of her house. "Yea. She sent me a text message," Caroline said. "How was that plane ride?" "About twelve hours," Caroline replied. Mary let out a groan. "That's a long flight." "You still wanna go there with her this summer?" "Yes! France has everything! Eiffel tower, French girls, Paris, food, clothes," Mary said. "P.S. Rufus has a crush on Elisa." Caroline laughed. "Really? What about you?" "Pardon?" Mary asked with a fake French accent. "I know you like her, too. That would be interesting." Mary laughed. "So, er, have you talked to Luke since you guys broke up?" Caroling asked suddenly. "What? No!" Mary said. "Mary," Caroline chided. "I know you're a lesbian but you were with him for a while and there was some emotion with you guys. Call him up and talk to him." "You know, I have been thinking about that," Mary said. "I mean, I was with him for about three months and we broke up in early December. I mean, I feel like he was my Grace and I'm Will." "You're your brother? What?" Caroline asked. "Um... no. Will & Grace. It's a show that was from 1998-2006 about a gay man, Will who was best friends with a straight woman, Grace. And about thirteen years before the series began, Grace and Will were a couple until Will told her he was gay." Mary said. "Oh, interesting," Caroline said. "Yeah." "Listen, if you talk to him, you want to have me and make one sibling of yours hanging at the same place in the background for emotional support." "Hey, cool. Thanks. I'll talk to you later. I can smell my sister and dad's lunch. Love ya, C-line." "Love ya, Maru." Mary got off her phone and put it in a pocket. She got up and walked back into the house. "So, what's up?" Kim and Christy asked. "Well, Elisa got to France about fifteen, twenty minutes ago," Mary said. "Nice, La France, I wish I was there," Ron said. "We went a lot of times as teens. You went with the family in soph year. I babysat Rufus the naked mole rat," Kim said. "France is the country of love. You and mom must have been great in France," Will said. "We were," Ron said. Mary laughed in a funny way to express amusing and uncomfortable. "I have never been more uncomfortable in my life," Mary said brightly. 'But that's sexy." "So, what did you and who was on the phone talk about?" Ron asked. "Will & Grace and maybe talking to my ex-boyfriend." Every person in the room simultaneously let out a loud groan. "What? He deserves to know. I'll never feel closure without doing that. I just broke up with him without saying why. I mean, I broke his heart, I'm sure." "That makes sense to me, Mary Ruth," Kim said. "Caroline offered to hang around at the same place for moral support." "If you want, I'll go too. We could wear wigs and look conspicuous," Christy said. "Some spy you are," Kim mumbled. "I haven't even talked to him yet!" Mary said. "Yeah, but you've got my support nonetheless," Christy said. The next day. Mary had called Luke and made a date of sorts to meet him at a coffehouse at one in the afternoon. Mary had called Caroline to her house and about 12:30 that afternoon, they were at Mary's house. "Okay, so, are you and Chris just going to be there watching us or what?" Mary asked. Her question was answered when Christy and Kim came down the stairs carrying two wigs and two sunglasses. Kim had a bright strawberry blond bob wig in her hand and handed it to Caroline. Caroling put her brunette hair in a bun and put the wig on. Christy had a black wig that was curly and had auburn streaks throughout it. "Okay, Caroline, here's the plan, we'll go to the coffeehouse fifteen minutes before she's due to be there and be watching them slightly. Do you got it?" Christy asked. "At least we'll be eating because otherwise it'll look suspicious," Caroline said. Christy nodded. At fifteen minutes to one, Christy and Caroline went to the coffeehouse. Shortly later, Mary arrived at the venue. Luke was waiting in the front. He was a tall guy about Mary's age. He had dirty blond hair and beautiful blue eyes. They embraced and kissed each other's cheek. "How are you?" Luke asked. "I'm good," Mary said. "You wanna go into here, get something?" "Sure." They walked into the coffeehouse and ordered two Italian soda as neither cared for coffee and a piece of cake for each. They sat in a booth by the wall. Mary saw that fifteen feet to the west of them was Christy and Caroline, both in their wigs and sunglasses eating biscottis and Milano cookies with coffee beverages looking rather intriguing. "So, um, you had a birthday recently? Well, you and your twin brother?" Luke asked. "Yeah, Sunday," Mary said. "He and I got the 60th anniversary Edition of the Star Wars saga." "Oooh. Nice!" Luke said. "My parents and grandparents love the Star Wars movies. My grandparents saw the entire series in theatre, my parents saw them later, though were alive in 1999. They chose my name because of the series." "Cute," Mary said sipping her soda. "So, your parents like Star Wars?" "You kidding? My father dragged my mother to see the first three episodes when they came out." "So, what did you wanna talk about?" Luke asked. "About our breakup," Mary said. "I'm so sorry I just broke up with you no explanation as to why. I was going through some personal things and trying to figure out stuff with myself. When I was with you, I was in denial about an aspect about myself and I needed to come to terms with it." "What was it?" Luke asked. "I'm gay, Luke," Mary said softly. "Wow." "Is that a problem?" "No. It's cool. I was raised better than that!" Luke said. "I'm fairly liberal. It's just surprising as we fondled and made out a lot over the course of three months." Mary laughed. "Yeah. My dad wouldn't be so happy about that. My big sister had to deal with so much of that blatent overprotectiveness when she was my age," Mary said. "So, you're happy with it?" "Yeah, I'm not hiding who I am. Family and friends took it good." "Thats good." "I hope we can stay friends," Mary said uncertainly. "Of course," Luke said. "I like you. You're a great person and friend and were a great girlfriend. You'll make a girl very happy one day." "Thank you." "Have you gotten any crushes on any girls?" "My French friend, Elisa. I like her," Mary said in a whisper. "Shh. Don't tell anyone." "I liked her most of your friends. Caroline scared me a bit." "She's in France for Christmas. And Carry is my best friend. She's protective over me. My mother is the same way with my father and vice versa. I also like my friend Jade. So, have you gotten with any girls, since we broke up?" "Nah. I'm still kind of getting over you." "Yeah. I understand," Mary said. "I'm sorry." "Hey, it's okay." "Yeah, at least now we got the closure we both probably needed. And now you can move on." Mary leaned forward and kissed him softly on the lips. They looked at each other. "Anything?" Luke asked. Mary smiled and shook her head. "Non," she said with a fake French accent. "I felt nothing romantic." "I felt intrigued." Mary laughed. "We'll have a fun relationship, eh? Kind of Will and Grace like." The End. |
