Mentor of Discontent was exciting and I had a fun shoulder paining day
12:10 p.m. on June 24, 2007

Hey readers! How are you all doing? I'm well. Except for a painful right shoulder.

So, yesterday, my cousins came over just as I was completing yesterday's diary entry. And they brought their Wii! How cool is that? So, we spent most of yesterday (except for the hour I watched Scrubs season 3 ender and the 90 minutes I locked myself in my room wanting, Kim Possible: Mentor of Our Discontent, season 2 of Emperor's New School, and Life With Derek) playing Wii games, like Bowling and Tennis. It was such fun. They even got me a Mii so when I play I'll have a person! Codi and Dustin and I also spent some time discussing our plans for Schlitterbahn. It's very exciting.

I'm also in love with a game called Chocolatier that my mom showed me.

And, yes I have the review of the Kp episode. No way I was missing it. I mean, I haven't missed an episode ever since November 28, 2003!

The Mentor of Our Discontent Review

An insane twenty three minutes is the only way to describe “The Mentor of Our Discontent.” It loses points for the long title but gains points for being funny, insane, giving me the great high that I always get watching a KP episode, and for referencing previous episodes such as So The Drama, Low Budget, and The Big Job.

So, this episode is about Ron being charged with the job to be role model for Martin Smarty’s punk of a sun who is about 8 to 14 years old. And all the while that Drakken, Shego, and the amazingly annoying Frugal Lucre, played by Richard Kind, who is an annoying person anyway are doing villainous stuff with robots, which we all know are evil by themselves.

Some of the highlights of the episode:

*The evil robots that Barkin did not trust (and for good reason!)
*Martin Smarty calling Ron Smart. I think I was shocked.
*Martin’s son Artie who had a punk feel about him that made me think of John Connor in Terminator 2.
*Drakken using acronyms.
*Frugal Lucre and the references to Low Budget.
*Shego doing everything to annoy Drakken
*4000 Smarty Mart’s are now worldwide? 2 years ago (four years ago if you go by the airdate of Low Budget!), there were 3000.
*The baby otters! They were so cute I could cry!
*The great stampede of animals. Impressive but I was spoiled in 1994 by the Wildebeest Stampede in The Lion King. No wild stampede of animals will ever beat that, ever.
*The continuity in Shego and Martin Smarty’s relationship.
*Shego distracting Martin Smarty in a seducing type of way. I have always wanted to see that in a KP episode. So much!
*Shego likes hydragenas?
*Kim coming out of the flowers!
*Kim and Shego playing chicken in their fighting on top of the Security guys! Classic!
*Martin Smarty being infatuated with Shego.
*Kim kicking robot arse with the grappling hook.
*Martin Smarty: “He’s more rebel than boy now!” I got the Star Wars reference so quickly I screamed, “YAY! STAR WARS!”
*The insane battle in Smarty Mart.
*The “I’m not touching you!” joke. My favorite joke ever.
*Kim and Ron kissing kind of offscreen. Cuteness. At least it’s happened once.

I also have the predictions of Oh No Yono up. Good stuff.

Life With Derek and Emperor's New School were all right.
