the last few hours until DH, and some other stuff I talk about
Good afternoon, ya'll. How are you doing? I'm doing okay. I've got nothing to report really. Although, I've been bugging on myself for the past few days to edit number 47 on my about me list to something else. I changed the Mount Rushmore one. Simba and Charlie Brown got bumped off, now it's either somebody from Pirates of the Caribbean or Star Wars. I'm hoping some day I have that as a tattoo on my back. Years ago, I wanted a tattoo of a Lioness on my back. It's true. So, next week, I'm planning on buying Titanic on DVD. I forgot that Barnes and Noble's website allows you to use only one freakin' gift card (LAME) So I gotta wait till a couple of dollars goes into PayPal so I can pay with that and and a gift card. Oh well. It's funny, that movie is made fun of by everyone but it was so successful. It's like, you're just making yourself look assy. It's like people who hate Harry Potter because of the Bible. I'm like, "Dude, it's freaking fiction. You do know what that means, right?" I swear to God, if I ever met one of those people, I'm gonna say just that. And then mock them for being threatened by a piece of paper and ink. Seriously, wtf is with those people? I mean, it got kids reading! It got me open-minded. Ask me what Harry Potter represents for me and I'll say something to the effect of "My enlightenment." I mean, I feel embarassed for those people. I mean, two years ago this week I revealed that, I indeed once hated Anyways, this is my granny's prediction for the end of Harry Potter, "he rides off into the sunset or retires." Flies off maybe, but like seriously, retire? I doubt he's gonna live past his 18th birthday... which I gotta admit will devastate me. So, I've gotta grab a box of tissues and my pillow before I lock myself in my room for three days. So, yeah, Codi and Dustin were over here for a while. Haha. They had these rollerskate things on their shoes. So cool. I mean, they would skate down the driveway, I'd catch them and throw them up it again. Dustin hit his head hard early on but he was okay. They are annoying and I love them, cuz I do. I dote on them like I do Hank. So, yeah, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is hours away and I am getting my copies tomorrow. I mean, yeah, it's already in town via UPS, so it's all good. I'm just like, waiting for it. I'm like, "my God. It's almost here." And I realized now, I have reached the acceptance of Dumbledore's death. It took two years, but yeah, I'm there. So, now I'm waiting for the last book, and waiting to find out how the story ends and the way it ends. I hear it's really good (yeah, from the idiots who actually downloaded it from the 'Net, one of which was my best gay mate from British-land). I'm ready, but I'm gonna be sad. I know that. I just have to prepare myself. Mugglenet posted something Jo Rowling said on her website: "Within hours you will know what happens to Harry, Ron, Hermione and the rest in their final adventure. All the secrets I have been carrying around for so long will be yours, too, and those who guessed correctly will be vindicated, and those who guessed wrongly will not, I hope, be too disappointed! As for me, I feel a heady mixture of excitement, nerves and relief. 'Deathly Hallows' remains my favourite of the series, even after several re-reads; I cannot wait to share it with the readers who have stuck with me through six previous books." I gotta say that I'm gonna cry. It's so exciting. I mean, I can't put into WORDS how I feel. It's like, I finally will know after six years of wondering. So, I finished season 4 of Scrubs. Good times. Haha. On to finishing up the bits of season 5 I've not seen and going on to season 6, so I can watch season 7 this coming fall. I caught South Park last night. Haha. Some funny stuff. I mean, Butters and some stuff. So, Harry Potter fans. Take a deep breath tonight and get ready to find out the mystery of the Harry Potter series. Let us all be able to mourn when we finish the book.
