Reading through the book series, and some other stuff
2:20 p.m. on July 27, 2007

Good afternoon, all. I'm doing okay, for the most, eh?

So, I've got quotes written down in my wee little book through February of next year, so it's all good.

So, I completed reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone earlier today. It's such a good book, but for some reason, 11 and 12 year olds aren't that interesting to me. I did also watch the movie, as well. Which is nice. Little Dan Radcliffe at 10, 11 years old. Now he's 18. Hehe. But, I do love the movie and the book. I mean, there's a moment in the book that later has significance in book 7, for God's sake. I mean, she seriously planned these books out so well, Jo. I mean, dear Lord, the woman worked on the books for seven years before they hit shelves, and a total of 17 years. If that is not dedication then I simply don't know what is. And, it's all great stuff. I love how they become friends, Ron, Hermione, and Harry. I had a fleeting memory from my first reeaing. When Dumbledore is like, "A change of decoration is in order." or whatever he says, I remember thinking, "You mean they gotta get somebody to change it?" And then it turns out that he does it by magic. What? It was my first time reading the books. I'm sure I felt the same way in other books. I mean, the characters were little and Fred and George were great. I do love the books, I just need to get the hardcover copies because I still have the wee paperback or this one and Chamber of Secrets...

Of which I am now about 100 or so pages into already. I do love that book, however short it is. I just think that the first two are great, but they are my bottom two. Now, it's like... 7 is first. 5, then 4 and 6 are in the middle, and then 3, 2, and 1. Though, I do like 3 a lot. It is one of my favorites. Actually, I do love all the books, I just love some of them the most and it's damn near hard to even decide which is my most favorite.
