Corpus Christi has their knickers in a knot over all the crazy stuff going on....
1:15 p.m. on August 15, 2007

Heey! How are you all doing? I'm doing all right today.

I'm still annoyed that I've yet to go shopping for school and it seems to be so hard to go anyway. I got a lot to say. First of which, there's a lot going on in Corpus Christi, right now. It's crazy.

We've been under a water boil advisory for about a day now. Click here for one of the many articles about it. All I have to say is this: "ew." It's really rather of an annoyance. I mean, drinking bottled water. The stores are practically sold out right now. Luckily my uncle bought like 100 bottled waters recently. So, we should be okay. I just hope all the b.s. ends soon. It's so much of an inconvience.

Secondly, anybody who watches the Weather Channel and our local news is aware that there's a small Tropical Storm in the Gulf of Mexico about 300 miles away from Corpus Christi. Click here for information. I think we've all got our knickers in a knot over this. But, I said the same thing about Katrina, so... yeah. But, Erin is supposed to make landfall tomorrow morn, south of us (we haven't had a direct landfall in ever), I think we'll be okay. We'll just have a lot of wind and rain (like we don't have enough all ready.

I'm currently going through what I went through with Chocolatier the game about a month ago. Kudos is a new addiction for me. It's this game where you control someone's life for about 10 years. It's really fun.

So, I watched Dirty Jobs on Discovery and The Universe on History Channel. I like stuff about the universe. I really do. It's an interest of mine. I'm still wondering where the aliens are. I mean, they have to exist. I mean, it makes me feel really lonely to think that we're all alone out here in the universe. Plus, we may never really get that far out into space. I mean, Voyager 1 and 2 and Pioneer 10 and 11 have left the solar system, but that's not far. Not by my terms.

So, guess what? My Aunt Leanne and Uncle Jay are planning to go to Schlitterbahn on Saturday. In the words of Hermione Granger, "I've been packing for days, so I'm ready to go at a moment's notice." I'm not exactly packed, but I've known what I'll be taking for a month or more. We better go on Saturday or I'm gonna be PISSED.
