intenet annoyness and fire ants!
Good afternoon. How are you all doing? I’m okay, a touch pissed off because the Net connection is STILL DOING THAT! DEAR GOD, TWC! Do you want us to switch to another company?! I don’t tolerate that whole B.S. with messing up net connections very well. Well, so classes. Economics was all right. We got into the bulk of macroecon, which is not that bad. I mean, GDP and that sort of thing. I’m not really into it, but for reason, I found myself thinking about KP a bit, more on that later. French. Started Chapter 3. Which is like where stuff is situated and whatnot. Like Chez means “at the home (business) of” and I wrote in my book, “Chez Leisure? At the home of Leisure? Hmmm….” The thing about that is that in The Golden Years, season 2 of Kim Possible, Kim’s grandmother, Nana Possible’s (does she have a first name?!) retirement home is called Chez Leisure. So, I thought of that. Haha. And of course, derrière is there, meaning behind. Haha. Enviro Science Lab. Good class. We had to do another method of measuring vegetation, this time with trees. That was rather fun. It was great. We ended up getting attacked by red fire ants. They were all over my shoes and my pants. I’ll hope that I don’t end up with the end result of that, stupid biting ants. But, it was very enjoyable, we went into a thicket of trees. It was quiet, kind of creepy. Now I need to work on my lab report for that. That’s gonna be really long. I suppose I’ll start as soon as the TA sends the Excel Table of information. It seems I’ve got the beginnings of a boil underneath my knee, but a few inches from that little nook area. You know what I mean? So I put some boil ointment and a big bandaid on it. Hopefully, it’ll be all good. Comedy Central had Jeff Dunham on. He was very funny. He does that whole puppet thing. Ventriloquism. I’ve never been a fan of that. The only puppet shows I enjoy are the uber wonderful Potter Puppet Pals. I have two of those shirts. Haha. I just find puppets creepy. Like clowns. So, I’m still mourning Kim Possible, and it’s been… 3 weeks on Friday. I figure I just need some time. It ebbs and flows. I mean, yeah, I haven’t watched Kim Possible since the day after the finale. I figure that’s just my way of mourning. I mean, I’m still accepting it because I think deep down I’d love it if this show would last forever, but you can’t really get what you want, so I have to deal with the sadness and the fact I don’t have plans to be part of the fight for five. I don’t wanna get my hopes up or be disrespectful to the creators. I mean, it would be like turning to Jo Rowling and say, “Bitch, write some more books about Harry Potter!” Hey, I love Harry as much as the next guy, but I’ll be satisfied with an encyclopedia of the entire world. And of course, I would NEVER call Jo Rowling a bitch, it’s just an example. I think that sort of thing just needs time. I mean, yeah, I have whole days free because of no more new episodes (being that I gave up an entire day to watch a new KP episode) with Fridays and Saturdays, so it’s cool but it’s like, I gotta find new things to do. I expect when I find the… thing to watch the episodes again, I’ll just probably have the same reaction to watching The Lion King again. Crying. I expect the episode hardest to watch for me will be not be the one that used to be really hard for me to watch. So The Drama used to be really hard to watch, but I expect the finale, Graduation will be unbearable to watch, probably because I’ll spend the time crying. I’m figuring I just gotta let the healing go at it’s own pace. I think the problem is that I keep comparing the experience to Harry Potter and when S T D was the end, when this is completely different. I am 2 and a half years older when I saw S T D and Harry Potter is a completely different experience than Kim Possible is. I mean, yes, both changed my life, but I don’t feel the same things with both. I can’t really put it into words.
