Modem trouble, plus double test day
AAAND, it's day 6 of "As The Modem Dies!" Good afternoon, it is a lovely 91 degrees Fahrenheit here but it feels like 100! Partly cloudy, with a wind at 13 mph! How are you? I'm doing okay. Yes, indeedy, the modem is still doing that. I swear, I got online this morning and was online through 8 o clock last night, and all was fine. But I get home and up until about 4:30 CDT it was down. My GAWD. I've gotten tired of calling TWC. It's like bad sex. Not that I know what bad sex is like, seeing as I've not had sex, but it's like... WHEN WILL THIS SHIT EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEND? You know? I think we should just replace the modem. My mom says to talk to Uncle Chris, my computer savvy/geek of an uncle who turns 50 next month. His wife, who he underappreciates, turns 55 on Sunday. YAY for Auntie Carolyn! But, at least it's working now. I didn't miss much, of course, I could have gotten a lot more done. Like my Algebra homework. I've already searched the Internet for Cable Modems... mainly the mainstream places like Best Buy, Dell, and Circuit City. I've also found that according to WIKIPEDIA, my brand of Cable Modem a Motorola SURFboard SB4100, is outdated. Seriously, type "Cable Modem" into Wikipedia, and there, on the top of the page is a picture of my modem. I'M DEAD SERIOUS! So, now onto AS THE TESTS GIVE ME A STRESS ATTACK day at College. See how witty I am? How I'm not letting my modem fuck me over and ruin my blog writing/typing abilities? So, Algebra. AHHH! So, I studied, I took the practice test online, studied a bit more, and then I TOOK THE TEST. 20 questions. I answered them all. Yes, I had to say that. Because with Math, I have a tendency to answer as many questions as I can that can get me to pass. 20 X 5 = 100. Anyways, so I did that, and it was okay. I think I need reasonably okay. I didn't kill myself. LOL. Just joking, I can't do that. I'm too scaredy. After the test, I had at least an hour to kill before my next class, which also had a test, so I headed to the library and searched for stuff for my lab report. I've written at least 70 to 80 percent of it. I'm at the results part of it, which is like, how does this work? I've got the discussion after that and then the citations. I've got the references I needed and then I headed over to my class for my test. Enviro Science. YAY for part 2 of 2 of AS THE TESTS GIVE ME A STRESS ATTACK day. 25 questions. Multiple Choice. I was done in less than 20 minutes! I'M NOT KIDDING. I had time to go to the commons and eat a leisurely lunch. A salad with ranch dressing, and chicken from chick fil a. Human Societies. So, we talked more about culture and then we went on to chapter 6. YAY! That's okay. I haven't read chapter 6, but I will later. WHAT?! I've been busy lately. So, I've had congestion the last few days. My head was so heavy. Right? So, before Algebra, I go to the convienence store inside the Commons and I get Tynenol Extra Strength. THAT SHIT WORKS! I kid you not. By the time I had gotten to Bay Hall about 20 minutes later (ish?), I was feeling good. And I still feel good about 8 hours later! Dude! So, I watched Scrubs last night again. It was the two episodes I wanted to see. Laverne's death. And, it was interesting. They pulled the Ben thing. Like, after Ben died in season 3, all through that episode, they had him follow around Cox, and you didn't know he died until the VERY END. And she's following around Carla before she dies. Anyways, so I was okay through that episode. Until Carla told Laverne her goodbye, and then I cried like a baby... or when I watched "Graduation" (of course, of KP). It was rather interesting to see the goodbyes of each of the characters. Respect from the Todd, a simple goodbye from Dr. Cox, a cheesy line from J.D that harkened to the first episode. And, tomorrow is gonna suck really bad because that's the new episode of Meerkat Manor. And Flower dies. I'm so not gonna handle that. Thought/Quote of the day: "You met him! We all did!
