Season 7 and 8 South Park, classes, etc
Hey readers! How are you? I'm doing okay. My Backstreet Boys CD has shipped. Yay. Not sure when I'll get it, but probably this week. Economics. We started the next chapter, which was okay. She also gave us some extra credit. I always do those, so I can do better in the class. French. We watched the next episode, which was pretty good. I liked it a lot. Enviro Science Lab. We took water samples from the University Beach, which is really nice. And then we walked to the other side of campus on the border, under the bridge connecting the island to the mainland to collect water samples there. It was a long walk and my feet hurt so bad. But, it was so nice out. It wasn't god awful windy and it wasn't cold. So, there's a preview of Imaginationland Episode 3 of South Park online. Apparently, Al Gore is in it, saying I told you ManBearPig exists. I suppose that's just a reason for them to rip on him for getting the Nobel Peace Prize, and dude, I totally see why. Al Gore pisses me off. I called my College Academic Advising people to schedule an appointment and I got a freakin answering machine. I gave them a message, but I'll be on campus from about 8:30 tomorrow until about 2:00, so yeah. If I don't get a reply by 5 o'clock today, I'll call them tomorrow on campus. The Spring Semester schedule is supposed to be up today by five, but alas. Yeah... So, I watched the rest of Season 7. I love Lil Crime Stoppers because the boys are playing cops and they end up seriously part of the Police Department of Park County. I love it because there is a moment where they're in the communal shower and Stan, Kyle, and Cartman are discussing why they joined the force. It's so weird and silly. And then South Park is Gay, which isn't a good or bad episode, I just like it because the boys become metrosexuals and dress gay. I love it. Christian Rock Hard is a good episode. I love it because the message is that illegal downloading is okay. And Cartman has a Christian Rock band with Token and Butters. What an odder group. And, then All About Mormons, which is really cool. I love the irony in that the only Jewish boy is all for beating up the new Mormon kid. For some reason, Stan is the one who's supposed to do it and then he can't and the family ends up Mormon. Raisins is just cute, because Stan and Wendy break up and he's heartbroken and becomes Goth. And he's all playing sad 80s songs. Haha. He's a 9 year old. And then season 8! I love it, except for the Steroid episode. In that episode, Jimmy uses Steroids in the special olympics and Cartman pretends to be handicapped to win. But, Season 8 is good. Good Times With Weapons rocks. I love Passion of the Jew. It's great. Cartman thinks Mel Gibson wants him to exterminate the Jews, and one of the final scenes is him and Kyle standing near each other. Cartman dressed like Hitler and Kyle with a yarmulke on his hat. All the boys see Passion of the Christ. Cartman thinks it means he can hate Jews more, Kyle is horrified that his own people handed off Jesus to Pilate... or whatever they did, and then Stan and Kenny are pissed off, because they hated it. The Jeffersons and Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset are good. One is about Michael Jackson. In that one, it's like, at one point, Jackson, Blanket, Cartman, Stan, and Kyle are sleeping in the same bed. And Stan dreams that Cartman and Jackson are practically about to kiss. And, the other is about Paris Hilton. She comes to town, the little girls (except Wendy) emulate her, and even go so far as to have a sex party. It's really fucked up, because the boys want no part of this. One of the best two episodes of that season are Pre-School, which shows the boys at the age of four, and it's so cute. I wonder what they'd look like at 14. I hope they do an episode about them as teens. God... they are gonna end up... fucked up. And Quest for Ratings, with the kids doing a new show. Butters, Jimmy, Token, and then all of the boys except Kenny. It's so good. And then this one random episode where Cartman like.. jumps off the roof, has a coma and then becomes pseudo-psychic. He even has a cane! And then Woodland Critters Christmas, which is so fucked up and so good all at the same time. Thought/Quote of the day: "Loyalty.
