Depressing Love Movies, and Christmas Dinner Fun!
Happy Boxing Day. Whatever the Hell that Holiday is. How be you all? I am doing pretty good. So, mom, grandma, myself, and Hank went to my Aunt Leanne's for Christmas Dinner. Made by Kat and Beach. Carolyn came too. Leanne and her family was with her in-laws, for Christmas Dinner there. Even though my uncle and his brother pretty much hate each other. And I hate said brother's sons Colin because he tries to... steal Codi's stage. I took some photos but I lost interest in them, so I deleted them. LOL. But, I did meet their new puppy. Bandit. He's a black Lab, who looks like a younger Samson, my Black Lab/rottweiler, but skinnier and a smaller head. He's a cute little dog. Very boisterious, and overenthusiastic as puppies are wont to be. Haha, I said wont! :D Anyways, he's teething and playful so I've got scratches and bites all over my lower arms and hands. He wanted to play with Hank, who didn't appreciate it. I think Bandit assumed because Hank was smaller than he is (seriously, Bandit was twice Hank's height) he was a puppy. And, Walker, Sadie, Buster, and Little Bit don't seem to like Bandit bothering them either. Walker is to Shadow as Bandit is to Chance. Get the reference to Homeward Bound. Sadie doesn't care, and Buster really didn't appreciate it either. Neither did Little Bit, who's an evil dog irregardless. LOL. If I moo at cows, they reply back to me! They have cows, cuz they live on a ranch-y farm, but I'm mentioned that. Anyways, apparently Codi and Dustin both got Guitar Hero, the third one. So I told them not to do what Stan and Kyle did in the Guitar Queer-o episode of South Park. but I didn't mention the episode title. I don't think they cared. Or understood. But, apparently, Dustin was so proud of how good he was at the game, so I asked him if he can play an actual guitar, and his reply, not surprisingly, was no. They also got the Simpsons movie of which I hope to see. Because it's the Simpsons. 18 years on the air, folks. So, I'm in the middle of the South Park and Philosophy book. Very good and very interesting. It seems to be I'm being treated to lovers who one or both dies stories right now. I watched Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End last night. Wonderful movie, very long, and very fun to watch. But the whole thing about cutting his heart out and being on the Flying Dutchman is the most depressing thing ever. I mean, I don't care how much of true love they had, it's not fair for Elizabeth to have to only be with him for one day every ten fucking years. He's like a deadbeat Dad for God's sake. Leave her all by her lonesome for years. Not fucking fair. But, great movie, great fight, and totally awesome that Elizabeth Swann becomes the Pirate King and starts a war. How many women have done that? I mean, besides that skank Helen of Troy? And, then, I watched Moulin Rouge! earlier today. Good movie. Ewan McGregor plays a penniless writer who falls in love with a courtesan, Satine, played by Nicole Kidman. Fun movie, lots of dancing and craziness. It's a love that can't be, because she dies of TB at the end. How DEPRESSING. It's like set in 1899 and 1900, and like all these songs are in the movie from like the modern times. Like Sound of Music, and Madonna's Like A Virgin and Material Girl, and "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" by some Carol chick and Marilyn Monroe and of course, Lady Marmalade which P!nk, Mya, Christina Aguilera, and Li'l Kim did. And of course, I'm going to watch the other two movies, Romeo & Juliet and Strictly Ballroom later today. I don't knwo what SB is about but I know how Romeo & Juliet ends. I read the damn play and I've seen the movies and it's oh so very depressing. Anyways, I also started my 7th journal last night. Yay! Good times. Thought/Quote of the day: "About two a.m. in very late June 2012"-- Narrator, Kim Possible: The Kays Have It by myself, January 2007 Word of the day: privy Hakuna Matata. |
