Mum's Bday, classes, and other stuff

Good afternoon, readers! How are you all today? I am again reminded why I love DHL.

I seriously love them. I ordered my computer mouse yesterday with Dell and I am now using it. It is a Logitech Optical mouse. I've used their products before (we have another Logitech mouse that is several years old in the other computer room), and I've always been satisfied. I'm mostly satisfied because they were so quick. I mean, 3-5 day shipping? Less than a day! And I only had to pay a couple of dollars in shipping. Crisis has been averted. No I won't take a picture because it's just a mouse. This is my third mouse with this computer. The one that came with the Dell (ball mouse), the Targus one that lasted from December 2006 to recently and then this one. Eh, fuck it!

Mouse

It's just a mouse. It's basic black.

Today is my mum's 53rd Birthday! Happy Birthday Mommy!

So, a lot of stuff is coming my way via shipping. I've got two packages of Barnes and Noble items coming my way and some t-shirts coming, and other stuff.

Today, I also bought a Pink TAMU-CC Sweatshirt (with hoodie) after much deliberation, and a 25 dollar gift card to B&N, which I used to pre-order the Imaginationland Trilogy DVD. Booyah. And... oooh, look! My Disney Movie Club movies JUST arrived! YES! I've written them a check and I'm sending it off tomorrow. Here are the dvds I got.

DVDs I got

103 DVDs now.

Anyways. So, classes was cool. World Lit. We talked more about Gilgamesh and Genesis, which was cool. It was a good class.

Western Civ. She wasn't there but we watched a Man For All seasons... selected scenes about Thomas More, who was beheaded by Henry the VIII and canonized/martyred by the Church (Roman Catholic to be exact) for it. Mainly because he wouldn't go along with Henry divorcing Catherine of Aragon. It was interesting. I still don't know how I feel about Thomas More. I think he was an asshole but I like him for standing up to a King.
