Earthquake, Algebra sucks, Primary voting
Good afternoon on this February afternoon! How are you? I'm doing pretty good. College Algebra. 2.3, which was basically easy stuff, stuff that I understood even though the class bores me. We got our tests back, mine being like... a crazy fraction that I don't know the meaning of. *rolleye* 30/66. WHAT?! He'll post the grades online, hopefully, it'll be less confusing. I need to do better in this class though. I assume this grade is like a 45 or something. Ugh. I should start studying NOW for the next test. French. We watched the episode for this chapter. Louise died. I actually cried in the middle of class, I had to wipe my eyes before the lights were turned on. It was good. And all in French, I didn't understand a word but it was obvious. Anyways. And after class, I went over to the language lab to get the course code for the next part of the online workbook. Jeez. It took forever. At least I got it. When I went home, using a bunch of stuff from the Internet, I found one of the early voting locations and voted! Democratic primary. And I voted! There were three people running that location (two old ladies!) and they were SO happy to see me. So, I voted for Barack Obama for Democratic primary. YES! And then for other folks on the ballot too. One of the justices or judges was named Sam Houston, and for you people who know your Texas History, he is mucho grande importante here in Texas. Well, I know it's not exactly that guy, but he got by vote for a cool name. That's basically how I voted outside of the presidential primary (by the way: The Texas ballot, Bill Richardson, John Edwards and all those other pricks... still on there): cool name, gender. I did know who Solomon Ortiz, Sr. and Jr. are. I love them. Anyways. So, has everyone heard about this: Strong quake shakes parts of Britain. Dude! I was amazed. I first found out about it at RS.net late last night. A lot of the UK members (or those living in the UK) were talking about it. My best friend in the UK: Nabusan actually SLEPT through it. Good thing though, and here comes a bad gay joke so I ask to be forgiven: he probably would have screamed like a girl. I kid. It was amazing. I can't believe there was an earthquake in England. In England! ENGLAND! Thought/Quote of the day: "I'm scared, Kim." "Yeah, I'm scared, too. It's a big step."-- Ron Stoppable and Kim Possible, Kim Possible: The Suit With Love by myself, February 2007 Word of the day: bartizan Hakuna Matata.
