Disaster Movies and Stoner Movies, Oh My!
1:20 p.m. on June 30, 2008

Whoo! It's June 30th and today's my grandma's birthday and I totally forgot. She's 82. And yay it's the end of the month. Onto July!

I never did go to that barbeque. My mom had to go back to work at like 5 ish. She works harder than all those bitches at her workplace. And she's just the assistant manager.

Last night I tried to watch this movie on the Sci Fi channel. Called Scorcher, It was this disaster movie, right? Like, I dunno how to explain it, but it was like, earthquakes, plate tectonics, the earth incinerating, and they had to blow up Los Angeles with TWO Thermonuclear bombs. The only thing good about it was that Sam Lloyd from Scrubs (TEDDY BUCKLAND!!!) was in it, and he was talking like a surfer dude. I love disaster movies because destroying the Earth is always COOL, but... I really hate that all disaster movies are like this: they encounter some problems TRYING to do their job, they fix it, people are running around, and then they fucking do the job. STOP STALLING. I was so impatient that I was cursing the movie like a sailor. I was so angry. When I watch disaster movies, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE CHARACTER STORIES. I care what happens about the Earth. Stop trying to have the characters have depth. I don't want to care about the characters in disaster movies.

Isn't it ironic that just yesterday I was talking about a sort of disaster movie that made me care about a character? Can Imaginationland be considered a disaster movie? Nah... I'd have to back it up and I don't want to. LOL.

Also, after that horrible movie, I had considered watching the other Disaster movie that Sci Fi had on but then I was like, "I'd rather watch Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle" on Comedy Central. It's a rated R cult stoner comedy about these two guys, Harold, an Asian guy working at a Investment banking firm and Kumar, who's an Indian guy, who's s'posed to go to Med school. They get hungry and go to a fast food place. It was so awesome. There were these two Jews in the movie, Rosenberg and Goldstein. They were awesome. I loved them! And Neil Patrick Harris played Neil Patrick Harris. Like, a parody of himself.

My favorite quotes with the two Jews were this:

Rosenberg: I think Kumar's a "faygele".
Goldstein: Oh, they're totally gay for each other.
Rosenberg: Hey, you wanna suck on this?
Goldstein: Uh-huh. Mmm.

And then when Harold and Kumar ask them to go with them:
Goldstein: Sorry, kids. We ain't goin' nowhere. We're watching 'The Gift'. Supposedly Katie Holmes shows her titties in this movie.
Harold: Is that all you Jews ever think about? Tits?
Rosenberg: Katie Holmes is a nice, respectable, wholesome girl... and I'm gonna see her boobs.

Kumar: How were Katie Holmes' tits?
Goldstein: You know the Holocaust?
Kumar: Yeah?
Goldstein: Picture the opposite of that!
Kumar: Nice!

It was a fun movie, a cheetah got high, and there was so much fun. I LOL'd so much. Now I wanna get it on DVD.

One of my friends and I were joking about the Jews after I watched it. Amazingly, Kyle, my favorite fictional Jew (other than Ron Stoppable), was the first boy to notice Bebe's boobs in Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society. LOL. Why am I talking about boobage? Jeez, and right after Harold and Kumar was on was Major Boobage. Comedy Central is funny.

Anyways, hoping some of my stuff arrives today, and today is the final day of the way the quotes of the day were as far back as about 4 years ago! Now onto the new idea! Harry Potter quotes start TOMORROW! YAY!

Have a great day!

Thought/Quote of the day: "Anything?"
"Non. I felt nothing romantic."
"I felt intrigued."
