Oooh, Emmy nod and more
12:35 p.m. on July 18, 2008

Hey folks! How are you doing? I'm alright. I'm very happy and just chilling.

So, yesterday the Emmy Nominations for this year were released and some of my favourite shows were nominated! Comedy Central nabbed 8 nominations. 3 for the Colbert Report, 3 for the Daily Show, 1 for the Sarah Silverman show (I don't care about that show) and 1 for South Park. YES! South Park has a nomination for "OUTSTANDING ANIMATED PROGRAM (For Programming One Hour or More)" for IMAGINATIONLAND! HELL YEAH, BITCHES!!!! HELL FUCKING YEAH! I was so happy when I found out. I practically cried. I honestly hope it wins, but this category is UBER tough. South Park is up against The Justice League: The New Frontier and the motherfuckin' Family Guy, Star Wars parody thingy: Blue Harvest. If we lose to fucking Family Guy, those Emmy people are retards with NO SOULS. I want to see them WIN. They've already won two Emmys, one for Best Friends Forever and the other for Make Love, Not Warcraft, but I want to see them WIN THIS TIME AROUND. 3 is better than 2. And Family Guy has ENOUGH. Family Guy doesn't DESERVE IT. SP worked HARD on Imaginationland. At least 2-3 months of time!

So, I put a deposit of 80 dollars into my checking account from a survey site and then went to Amazon and bought Beast With A Billion Backs from the Marketplace. It's only about 3 weeks after it was released and I found it for 16 dollars. I recently got a 10 dollar gift card from Amazon from a survey site (thank your Deity for getting paid by survey sites), so I bought it.

I'm watching the last leg of my Futurama marathon. I cried watching Leela's Homeworld and of course, Jurassic Bark, like full on sobbing. But, I love some of the episodes of season 4.

So, you know what I find REALLY interesting, even though it's kinda weird. Mummification and various ways that bodies can be perserved after death. Bog bodies, mummification, anything! I find it fascinating to see how well some corpses have been perserved. I spent yesterday on Wikipedia checking some of that stuff out. I know it's weird, grusome, and whatnot, but everytime there's something about mummies on tv, I try to watch. I think it's funny, though. I hate looking at corpses of recently deceased folks, but I have no issues with it if they've been dead longer than 100 plus years, apparently. I wonder what this says about me. :-/ I mean, show me a Mummy from 4000 years ago and I'd be creeped out but not be that bothered.

Thought/Quote of the day: "I hope you're pleased with yourselves. We could all have been killed - or worse, expelled. Now if you dont mind, I'm going to bed."
