BLU, Leave MJ Alone, Pitchmen

Happy July! How are you all doing? I am doing okay.

For a couple of days I had been attempting to read Sorcerer’s Stone, but I could get too far. Mostly because I have read the Harry Potter books, at least the first five, so many fucking times I KNOW what happens. So I just said, screw it, and decided to read the book that’s coming out as a movie in two weeks. The sixth one, which is my least read Harry Potter book.

My friend poolie made a comment in my notes yesterday afternoon that I totally agree with. We, as in the whole fucking world, need to let Michael Jackson rest in peace. It was a short one sentence remark, but seriously, we should. Why on Earth is it necessary that we show his body for all to see like some circus side show? They did that with the Pope, and that wasn’t pretty, from what I heard because they didn’t do anything special with the body. I’m mostly squicked out by the idea that some douchebag will take a picture of his body in a casket. ‘Cause you know the tabloids will do that. I should ruddy hope they don’t.

I mean, of course, I've got a lot of questions about Michael Jackson. Tons. I'd love to know them. But, he's fucking dead. We will never know. So, we should let him rest.

Yesterday afternoon, I watched Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. On my two-week old television, even in the super shitty animation that South Park was built on and still to this day tries to make itself look better, it looked amazing. I loved it. So super special. Of course, I still dance and sing along to two songs in specific. Yay, it’s a ten year old movie. Now it’s older than the children in the movie.

After that, I went to another Park. Jurassic Park. Hell yes. That movie just proves how fucking bad-ass that Jeff Goldblum is. HE OUTRAN A T-REX. A T-REX. Jeff Goldblum could kick Chuck Norris’s ass. That movie is so awesome. I think when I did my KP Jurassic Park fic about five years ago, I had the ages about right for Christy and Will (the Lex and Tim characters). Looking at Lex and Tim now, they were about 12 and 9 or so. Lex has a small bit of chest, so she’s probably about 12. Tim just looks about 9. Though I will sometimes mistake him for 5. LOL. Also, at the end, when they’re heading home, apparently Ellie has blush on because her face has light pink on her cheeks. Way to be obvious, Spielberg. I started it about 10 minutes before seven, so I ended up missing two of the four South Park episodes airing last night…

Which were ‘South Park Salutes America’ because of 4 July being a couple days from now, and thus happened to be I'm a Little Bit Country, Chef Goes Nanners, About Last Night... and Manbearpig. What about Summer Sucks? That actually has some 4 July stuff. But you really don’t want to air that episode when its summer and summer is sucking bawls. Or maybe you do. I dunno. I only caught the ending of CGN, so yeah, episodes three and four were good as hell.

I'm watching the Pitchmen marathon on the Discovery Channel right now. Apparently, Billy had a three year old. Oh God, that made me really sad. He also has an older son, who I think is in his twenties. It's apparently all day, starting at 10 am and ending at like, 9 pm.

For some reason, it's all like, light static on our tvs. I dunno why, maybe they just suck. I might change the channel later in the day because I don't watch the same channel all day.

I started reading Half-Blood Prince last night, and I totally realised another reason why this summer sucks. This summer, is the first odd-numbered year summer since 2001 that did not have a new Harry Potter book come out. 21 June 2003, Order of the Phoenix; 16 July 2005, Half-Blood Prince; and 21 July 2007, Deathly Hallows. At least there's a new movie coming out in two fucking weeks. YES. Apparently, according to the last book's Wikipedia page, some speed-reading world champion read the nearly 200,000 words... in less than an hour. I'm sorry, you did not read that book. I mean, I'm sure speed-reading is possible, but isn't the point of reading to savour the words? It seems like it cheapens the act of reading by shortening the time to read.

But, I dunno, maybe I'm wrong.

My mum and I considered getting a haircut today. I decided to maybe wait another week. My hair is actually as long as it's ever been. About. Ish.

Anyways, I'm going to go take a break.

And, yay, the last of the Star Wars quotes with this month. Whoo!

Oh, and 55 days until I go back to school. Just checked. Totally cool.

Thought/Quote of the day: "You may dispense with the pleasantries, Commander."
-- Darth Vader, Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi

Word of the day: transported

Hakuna Matata.

Countdown to Second Half Season 13 of South Park: 98 days and 8 hours!
