I Talk About OCD A Bit Today. Oh, New South Park!
Good evening, readers! How are you? I am doing all right. I don't have much to say today except some school stuff and personal stuff, so I'll be somewhat brief. My period came this morning. Wonderful. Thank God I have a sanitary pad in my backpack at all times. I didn't get an aspirin until lunch. Poor me. Media Ethics. My group did our presentation/discussion on fair use. It was fun ish. I think it's interesting. He mentioned that movie This Film Is Not Yet Rated which I've not seen except for a scene with Matt Stone. I need to watch it. My counseling appointment was good. I got to cry about stuff I was afraid and nervous about. And we talked about the idea of personalizing OCD. Like, giving it a name or treating it like it's something tangible. In realising how it's manipulative and mean and sociopathic... I decided OCD is my Eric Cartman. It helps because I can be like, AY, SHUT UP, CARTMAN. Whenever OCD gets bad. It helps. Next appointment 2 weeks from Friday. Sensation and Perception. Guess what? Next week is gonna SUCK FOR ME. I'll be starting EWH paper tomorrow. Even I can get a page done. I need to do it nao. Abnormal. Finished up Mood Disorders and went over Suicide. Next up: Schizophrenia! I was on campus until 5. My group watched about 45 minutes of As Good As It Gets and will try to watch some on Friday noon. We're looking for a question to research. I think it'd be interesting to look at how secretive OCD is and possibly if animals adopt OCD behaviours if around OCD people. Must try to stay as objective as possible. New episode about South Park at 9! Yay! The F Word! I'm trying to figure out what else I want to talk about. I can't think of anything, but if I do... I'll talk about it tomorrow. I'm off.
