Long Day, The Puppy on Colbert.
7:25 p.m. on March 19, 2010

Hey! How are you today? I am doing okay, but I could be better.

Today will be the last time I post an entry on WordPress for a while. I’m kind of sick of it already. I will keep that site up and maybe post every so often, just in case. ;)

You know, if you look at my earlier years of writing in my blog, I did not write as faithfully as I did. I missed days sometimes for various reasons. Now, I try to have an entry everyday.

It’s funny, my review of Sexual Healing was posted with giving it a 9/10 and I think at some point before posting it when I was away from the computer, I had thought, 8.5. But now that’s it’s posted, that 9 is my official rating for the episode. But, of course, my viewpoints on episodes change with time. I mean, that episode I thought was OMG BEST EVER, 10/10 might be an 8 a few months later.

When I opened my Brit Lit paper yesterday afternoon, I had two full pages, and four lines on the third page. When I finished, I was more than halfway through the fourth page.

When I first got my haircut, I worried that the haircut was too short and that my head was too fat/too big to pull it off. I like that I can have curly or straight hair if I want to. I do wonder how much of my curly hair can be caused just by me trying with my hands to curly it up. Heh.

I did some of that checking to make sure entries were in my word documents for the Blog Archive Project. I did it from January 2006 to June 2007. I almost included a longer discussion about a meme that I did (actually, 4 years ago TODAY), but I nixed it because I found it. Basically the meme has me saying that wouldn’t write rape, but that I was relatively sure that I had written stuff that could be construed as such in some way (even statutory rape) even before that date, after that date, and I’m sure it is plausible that I could write stuff like that in the future.

Also, I love how in the same meme I forgot the name of the writer for Catcher in the Rye which is hilarious, because I’m sure J.D. Salinger would be very happy about that.

Yesterday, tried calling Alex twice between 7:30 and 8:10 my time and didn’t get an answer, so I gave up. Ah well. I can talk to her later.

This video is so cute, because of the wittle doggie in it.

I like how Colbert tries to be stern with the dog, but can’t because the dog is so damn cute. And he wears a Snuggie, I think! Hehe.

I had plans to post up the About Me Revamp TODAY but alas, other stuff caused all of my plans to basically be shelved for today. Like, all of them. Hence, my later than usual entry.

When I post that, it will also be posted on WordPress.

Yesterday, Kat and Gavin decided to stay over last night with us, from about 6:30 or so on. Then, this morning Kat got a call from her brother, Tommy pick up Whitney from school over a trifling of a dress code issue. Seriously, she had on a mini-skirt WITH black leggings, and apparently that was BAD. It was effing ridiculous. I went with them to Calallen to like, surprise Whitney and to hang out for a bit. Something like that.

We picked Whitney up, her dad gave her permission to skip out the rest of the day because he was pissed at the school, we stopped by her house to allow her to change and get some stuff. Then we went over to the bayfront. We played at a small park that had swings that wasn’t too far from the Memorial Coliseum which has not been demolished yet. They were supposed to it was delayed last week. Pissed me the hell off. Anyways, we also went over to Cole Park and Kids Place Unlimited. I used to go to Kids Place when I was a little kid. In fact, the last time I went to play there was probably about 10 years ago, the summer of 2000, I think. It’s still as awesome. Gavin had so much fun. After that, we got some Frosties at Wendy’s, went to Taco Bell to get something for my grandma, and then came home.

Whitney and I hung out in my room and watch Sexual Healing and 2012.

Around 4 or 5, a family friend and two of her grandchildren came over for a bit. Sandra was the lady, the grandchildren were like junior year of high school and middle school aged kids. My grandma told me that Sandra took me home from the hospital, apparently that’s important or something. Grandma also made a comment after they left that made me want to say, “I will slap you.” She was like, “she helped hide you from your father.” Or something. I don't think I actually reacted, but still. I kinda wish she would STFU about this “father” of mine. I found it very offensive.

Whitney, Kat, and Gavin left about 6 to take Whitney back to her house, and then Gavin and Kat back to my aunt’s house where they’re staying.

I did find myself annoyed after several hours of trying to keep a small child from fucking up my room and touching my shit. They ended up playing with my fucking yellow Counseling Center stress balls which worried me because they might see the number of the TAMUCC Counseling Center on there. Grandma got mad at me because I was getting visibly more like… agitated that I could not be solitary like I typically like. When I don’t have that time to myself, I get upset, and feel bad.

I was hoping on studying today and working on more of the Brit Lit paper. I will try today, but I doubt that it’ll happen. Considering how late it is.
