Starting Early on The Yearly Review, Plus Another Jane Austen Novel down
12:30 p.m. on November 22, 2009

Hello! How are you? I am doing all right.

I decided to write one month of my traditional yearly review that will be posted at the end of the year. Just to start early. It was pretty fun to read the entries from earlier in the year. Some of it even caused OCD attacks. Like, this entry triggered one that was me worried if I had been unsupportive of friends at any point. I have to realise and know that if it’s happened (and I’m sure it has, as I’m not perfect), I learnt my lesson and strive to be caring, supportive and loyal to my friends everyday of my life. I hate when the OCD attacks are triggered by something I’ve written in the blog. It happens a lot. I struggle with it. I deal with it.

Anyways, yeah, I decided to start early because it would be helpful to me not to just wait until 2 weeks before. Plus, if you'll recall, I started more than 6 months before the 5th anniversary of the blog on the 5 year review. I actually started on the 21st of March 2006 for the 25 January 2007 birthday of the blog. Heh.

I’m kind of glad that I can talk about OCD on my blog and even with really close friends. I don’t talk about every aspect of it, because sometimes it’s too hard to do so, because it’s so personal or too upsetting, but it helps to talk about it in general terms.

I got a chance to talk to some of my friends yesterday, which was really nice. It made me happy. Alex and Misty! Not in the same conversation but nearly at the same time. It was pretty sweet.

I also decided that Lady GaGa’s Poker Face is a Cartyle song. I was reading it while reading Cartyle fanfiction and it just blew from there. I kinda want Cartman to just sing it to him.

This entry, for those of you watching at home is the 4259th entry.

I finished reading Emma last night. I’m still ambivalent about it. Maybe I just didn’t read it best. Wikipedia helped me appreciate it more. I am amused that Emma ends up marrying Mr. Knightley who is 16 years older than her. Emma’s about my age (she’s 21) and yeah. Though, 16 years is about the age diff between Ashton and Demi and they seem alright. The only thing that bothers me is that her eldest child is ten years younger than Ashton. He is closer in age to his stepdaughter than to his wife. But who am I to question love?

I watched the third disc of Season 12 of South Park. Based on the remarks made on the disc, I infer that 30 November will be when they record commentary for season 13 dvd. I can't wait until that DVD is out. One thing I noticed while watching that disc, The Ungroundable has Stephen Stotch being all like, OMG, we have to have alphabetical organisation in our pantry or else our family won't be together. While he could just be a perfectionist, it does sound a little like OCD. Just a tad.

... I feel kind of like Jack on Will & Grace. He thinks everyone is gay, I think there's a remark like that. I'm totally into thinking various fictional characters are OCD.

South Park kind of has covered OCD, but not really. I mean they did Tourette Syndrome. That's often associated with it. I just imagine that if they were to cover OCD, the analogue to Tourette Syndrome Association would do the same thing they did. I can see it. Plus, OCD is kind of shown stereotypically a lot. TV Tropes even has a trope or two about it.

I've started Northanger Abbey and I've studied Physio today and plan to study for the GRE as soon as I post this, and maybe again with Media Ethics. But, I finish NA and I'm basically done, Lady Susan is just an extra one.

Thought/Quote of the day: "To England."
"To Mankind."
"To Manchester United."
